I've been doing Crossfit for around ~3 months now, and slowly but surely i'm starting to see some results. My mistake was doing once per week training for almost two months though, i feel like my new routine of three times a week is much better.

However, idk what else to combine it, i feel like regular gym would put too much stress to my muscles.

Oh that's quite helpful, I'll comeback to strength training then. Diet is a tricky one for me because my diet usually had a lot of carbs, but i've been cutting them out and replacing them with vegetables. I will try to add more protein as well. Btw sis how long did it take you to see results?

For sure!

I will say I didn’t start seeing any results until I really cracked down on my diet. I’ve lost about 10ish pounds in the last 3/4 weeks. It’s important to note that sometimes the initial weight that comes off is water weight, and it’s common to reach plateaus so be patient with yourself!

I do cycling and swimming a number of times a week for cardio, they're easy on the joints and then you could also do a yoga class/flexibility-mobility class to ensure your joints/muscles get relieved and as much flexibility as possible.

Jesus I can't even fathom trying that workout routine let alone implementing it into a regular schedule :rip:

I started a new supplement last week (tongkat ali) alongside the ecdysterone and ashwaghanda I’ve been taking and whew my lifts just got so much easier.  I usually do 205 on bench for my max set, and today I just did 2x5 at 225 no problem.

Do you think it's a placebo or it really worked? I might try to off-cycle creatine, and then retry something else after.

Well, I started ecdysterone about a month ago and you’re supposed to see pretty immediate strength gains with that but I never did.  Maybe it was the combination of that and the TA that caused the strength gains then?

What dose do you take? I see some as capsules and some as powder form. I'll give it 3-6 months using it before weaning off it again for creatine and bulking.

My bench 1 RM is somewhere between 231 to 242lbs and I wanna try a 1RM 264 to 286 lbs within the next year. And my DL is lagging - but perhaps with that I just need more practice and patience.

500mg ecdysterone, 800mg tongkat ali, and 400mg ashwagandha

The last time I tested my one rep bench, I managed to get one awful rep of 275lb up.  Goal is to hopefully hit 315 by the end of the year.  Hopefully being able to hammer out more reps at 225 will help!

I'll give this a trial run and see how it goes. Much appreciated!

Do you do anything else like military press, tricep work to increase your bench? Or is it just more reps / practice makes perfect etc (just trialing 5 x 5, GVT, pyramid training etc).

How do you measure in such tiny quantities? Isn't it scary?

off cycling creatine seems unnecessary. both regarding off cycling it, and the removal of consuming it in the first place. why not just stack it?

I've never used anything in combination, just it alone and going up and down / or on-off to reduce tolerance. What would you recommend?

I do a PPL split twice a week, heavy for 3 weeks and light for one week and I alternate doing barbell and dumbbell work each workout.  So one push workout will be flat and incline barbell bench and overhead press, and next push workout is flat and incline DB press and DB military press.

Everything I take is in a capsule so I don’t have to measure anything :alexz3:

I've been trying to lose weight since March. I weighed 253 pounds then (and I didn't look terrible bc I'm tall but I def had a belly). I started a vigorous 25 minute workout a day + added more vegetables to my diet but didn't really take away any junk. Didn't see any results

Since that wasn't working I changed it to 45 minutes of bike riding 6 days a week + walking at least 3 miles everyday. I also cut out junk food completely. Just eating chicken, vegetables, and fruit (occasionally bread). I've lost 10 pounds in two weeks :jonny: guess I had to realize you can't just add healthy foods you have to substitute. Trying to lose 30 more. Anyone have any tips on how to maintain the weight once I've lost it? Can I add back in any junk food once I'm done losing? I'm gonna continue to exercise the same

Also how often can I allow myself fast food without ruining my progress? I'm a sucker for fast food and don't think I can live without it forever but I haven't had any in a long time in an attempt to lose weight. My brother is a twig and eats whatever he wants so I'm always jealous he gets to eat fast food and I can't lol

I've been going for these 10km walks by myself and I sometimes meet this couple (husband  + wife) also on walks.

Usually the wife will nod at me and I will do the same to her.

The other day I was wearing a grey t-shirt which I guess was very soggy and sweaty. I could see her husband looking at me so I turned to them and did my usual nod but instead of responding, the wife grabbed her husband's tshirt and pulled it in her direction to tell him something.

Today, when I went for a walk, they were approaching from the opposite direction, instead of our usual exchange of nods-she grabbed her husband's arm and started pointing out a house. I carried on walking and the other side- we met again. She once again grabbed her husband's arm and pointed out a house.

Am I making it weird? Should I just avert eye contact? I can't change my exercise times? Am I overthinking this?

They are getting weirder. Lets say I am walking down the road, and they are walking from the opposite direction heading towards me (but on the other side of the road), they will switch sides so they are on my side of the road and I will have to move out of the way.

When I go through the park there are two lanes of pavement. I notice whenever I take the lane on the right, they will walk into my path and I will have move out of their way.

So, I decided to start taking the lane on the left. When the couple approached me, the man started to move to my lane, the woman walked past and went to their usual lane. I could see the man stopping and pointing out my lane to the woman who ignored him and proceeded to their usual lane. So he ended up joining her in their usual lane.

This proved to me that they switch lanes to make me move. Like a power trip or something. I find it unnerving. I try to avoid them by leaving earlier but since I walk 10km and it takes me 1.5 hours it

How do I even walk when they keep following me?
