DanyelP23 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I tried to seriously do crunches for the first time in my life. I did 4 sets of 20. The last 6-8 were so painful in each set but it was a kind of rejuvenating and electrifying pain and I'm kinda obsessed I was doing sit-ups until now and after a while I noticed that I was barely feeling any muscle soreness even if I was upping my reps from 20 to 30-40. I was just feeling out of breath and tired overall, but my ab muscles didin't feel "worked on". 1
DanyelP23 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Why does the locker room mirror make my body look so good compared to the one at home? One more reason to get out of the house and put in the work though 1

As the blood flow goes back to normal after exercizing, they deflate a bit. 1

To be fair I did work on shoulders and chest so it makes sense 1

Cesar Posted February 21 Author Posted February 21 Been working out consistently for almost 4 years now. I think I'm ready to leave the natty side and reach my true potentialย
DanyelP23 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Maintained the same weight over the last 40 days even though I've upped my calories. Decreased my body fat percentage and gained 1 kg / 2.2 pounds of muscle mass This is all in all amazing but I feel EXHAUSTED, not physically, but spiritually. But yes, body recomp is actually real, I guess
Hephaestus Posted yesterday at 09:02 AM Posted yesterday at 09:02 AM So I've decided to get serious about my nutrition lately and started to count calories/macros with MyFitnessPal (sh*tty ad ridden app, do not recommend) and quickly moved to MacroFactor after. ย Not gonna lie it's a bit of an hassle but I'm curious to see if it'll bring changes to my physique faster than just working out and trying to have a diversified diet.
Kern Posted yesterday at 09:14 AM Posted yesterday at 09:14 AM I haven't been to gym in months and I'm getting fat. Embarassing
John Slayne Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM Posted yesterday at 09:17 AM i try to be conscious of what i eat and focus on protein but is counting calories essential? i feel like it's such a hassle and i don't want to develop unhealthy relationship to food, i am worried that i would become obsessed with trying to have a perfect diet if i go that route tbhย ย luckily i've always been thin so my goal is to bulk still, and i'm slowly getting there but i lowkey miss the times when people used to ask me if i'm anorexic (i wasn't, but my body was teaย ย it was not healthy though, my body fat % was crazy low) 1

I'm also on the thin side and struggle to bulk so now that I'm getting closer to the 1 year mark of training at the gym I want to focus on nutrition in an effort to aid muscle building. ย The idea is not to obsess over food, but rather be more informed about what I eat so I can make better choices with my meals. For example one thing I noticed is that I tend to be pretty close or hit my daily calories without even trying, but carbs are way more prevalent in my diet compared to proteins and that clearly is not ideal when you're trying to build muscles. Learning that has made me rethink my meals a little and now I'm trying to include more proteins at lunch, dinner and even snacks if possible.ย 1
