Sergi91 Posted August 10, 2023 Author Posted August 10, 2023 It looks like the ads for the new IPhone 15 have begun filming in Mexico City.
Maxxie Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 I need some help deciding on which iPhone to go for for the 15 lineup release next month. I currently have a 13 Pro and love the size but battery life is just okay. Have any of you gone up to the Pro Max size coming from a regular Pro? I feel like the Max is a little too big and heavy, I wish there was a size in between. I know the 15 Pro is supposed to be getting lighter due to titanium. Cannot decide.
babyforlife Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 if regular ip 15 will support Dynamic Island, I see theres no point getting the pro series, A16 still fast enough for my daily need, I don't really play games on my phone and I rarely use my telephoto lens on my 12 pro max, and i heard the pro version will likely to bump up the price by $100.. which is NOT good for an already expensive phone.. the only downside I would miss is the better material (frosted glass + stainless steel combo >>>>> glossy glass + aluminum) and 120Hz screen.
theweekend Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 (edited) my 13 mini started hitting my nerves when a game app and camera app are opened in the background the phone starts crashing. I've never seen anything like this, I have an SE3 and it looks like a 3/4 generation newer compared to my 13. sometimes it resets itself when I'm barely using the phone or it closes every app. it's weird as hell. let me back to my good ol' days when I had the 7/8 line up now that I know the issues featuring the game/camera I close immediately after using one of them, so it became better. still it's a shame a phone that barely has two years that is behaving like this. The max is a bit bulky, but honestly I love the size majority of the time. it takes away the need of an ipad sometimes. I do find it hard to fit in my pockets/holds now my pants sometimes. the new 15 pro max, is supposed to be a bit bigger. but it will have a perscope lens (6x zoom) while the pro won't until the 16 pro. If you want the periscope lens (6x zoom) and a bigger screen size then go with the pro max. If you don't want something thats fits in the palm of ur hand + is light weight then go for the pro. 1
Cesar Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 apple lowkey perfected macbooks, i just wish this 16inch mac book pro wasn't so damn bulky
AxelFox Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I'm so mad they won't release a 24 inch display Personally I think 27 is a little too large, 24 inch is the perfect size. I've tried a few displays but the difference in image quality and brightness from my mac book screen to those displays is so stark that i just can't adjust anymore, I returned them all. and I'm not paying almost 2k for their 27 display which doesn't even have pro motion

I have the 12 pro max and I regretted buying it cause it ended up being bigger than I expected. I’ll be going for the 15 pro this september/october

Also stainless steel from the Pro will be removed in favour of titanium, which is unlikely to be shiny) 1

I feel like it has to do with enabling 5G, AoD, and a haptic keyboard. It's approaching Android territory with the horrible efficiency.
DamianSolo Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Can someone explain to me why my 14 Plus will randomly become incredibly loud even though the volume bar is as low as it can be without being muted?

I have the 16” pro and yeah, it’s definitely a beast but I think the “bulk” is actually a bit of an illusion since the old gen of pros had a greater curved edges making them look thinner

When I switched from a 6s to a 7 plus, I remember it felt too big but then when I switched to a normal XS I missed the big screen and the extra battery. Considering how we use phones today, it's definitely better having a bigger screen and battery imo, plus now with Apple Watch if you want to stay light without bring a big phone you have that option too.
Leptine Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Still can't believe I passed from switching iPhone every year to manage to stay 5 years with the same phone for the first time in my life, the XS was truly one of their best phones, I saw some videos recently in which is still is considered a great phone technically, however I can't wait to upgrade, the battery is almost gone.
Bad Decisions Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 (edited) So I have question. I want to delete my Apple ID and create a whole new one (don't ask. I have my reasons lol). I don't mind starting my Apple Music from scratch. I don't have anything stored in icloud or anything like that. I also don't have a lot of purchases made and the ones I do I can easily re-buy so that's not a problem. My main concern is my phone number since my number is currently attached to my current ID... will I be able to still use my number with a completely new ID as well? I did a google search but I keep getting mixed answers so I thought I should ask here. Edited August 20, 2023 by Bad Decisions

Mellark Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 (edited) I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max but I don't know if it's worth upgrading to the 15 Pro Max, but I gotta see the features first. But I want to upgrade my iPad though. Edited August 21, 2023 by Mellark
Leptine Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Quote Apple will unveil its new iPhone 15 lineup in a range of new colors at a special event likely to be held on September 12. Here are all the colors we expect to see for the four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Quote Apple typically chooses four, cooler-toned colors for its iPhone Pro models. Last year, for example, Apple offered iPhone 14 Pro models in Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black. This year, however, a design change is expected to switch things up a bit. Apple's 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max models are expected to feature a lighter titanium frame instead of a stainless steel frame for the first time, and to best show off material change, Apple is introducing a series of new colors. https://www.macrumors.com/2023/08/25/iphone-15-colors/ 1
Leptine Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Lowkey disappointed if those colors are confirmed, aside from the classic 3 ones, I was expecting a more standing out color for the Pro like the rumored deep red. 1
BeenTheShit Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 I'm slightly torn about which 15 Pro color to get.
Xtina23 Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 I hope Apple makes a foldable phone soon! I've always owned only Apple phones, but my brother bought the Samsung foldable phone that looks like a tablet and I want it! ughhh
nadiamendell Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 I'm ready for the 15 Pro... My 12 Pro's charging port is unusable now and the battery isn't lasting as long as I'd like. I'm excited for USB-C!!
