I WILL NOT give up on this show. Since the rumours are fake I'm hoping everything goes according to plan and production starts in January. The alleged 5 year gap will be great. I'd love to see the characters as adults and see how they've evolved or made a mess of their life.

Although I agree at this point we should all move on, they did mention season 3 would have a time jump, ao the characters wouldn't be teenagers anymore.

 

Mind you they also said Zendaya shot down some of the ideas for Rue, so who knows at this point.

 

But to me it seems practically impossible to do a season 3 picking up from high school.

Zendaya is fully booked. Jacob has Wuthering Heights and is supposedly the front runner for the new American Psycho as well. Sydney Sweeney also has projects lined up. How exactly is it going to work?

 

Is it just going to be S*m L*vinson and Alexa Damie on set?

they could do like like the 2 special eps between s1/s2 and just give each major character a spotlight ep

Season 2 was way phoned in compared to season 1 as it is. Imo it ended the perfect way at the perfect time. The Idol was proof Sam is out of ideas. Hang it up flatscreen

The infighting between cast / crew on set is also ridiculous and completely unprofessional. It only seems to happen w Sam shows, as the actors haven't had any problem on other projects they're working on. 

 

I think if they're going to bring it back, let Zendaya go. She has problems w Sam and iirc refuses to film with Jacob. Have Jacob and Hunter be recurring, bc they both have other projects they are working on. Alexa can pretty much carry the show with a couple of new up and coming actors. Sydney also seems desperate to do anything for a buck (she is currently starring in a men's body wash commercial) so she can carry the show as well. 
 

It's sad Angus is gone, but it seems as tho his plot line had nowhere to go on this show anyway. Also Nate's dad has no place to go w the plot, unless with the time jump he is out of prison (and a registered sex offender )

 

idk, there's not a ton of material to work with, but it could be done, if Sam got his sh*t together (which it doesn't seem like he is)
