I cannot stand her character. I understand she's play an addict but Rue is evil. Zendaya is great at the role though it's just the character.

 

I feel like a lot of girls are more into Maddy though.. Which makes sense, she's the popular pretty girl with great fashion and with the hot abusive boyfriend

but despite being so pushed in the media she doesn't have any new project to make after the guadagnino movie and dune sequel so i guess she tries to monetize the only thing really seems to work. 

Actors have projects in the works that we don’t know about yet, that’s the nature of the industry. 
 

Networks do thousands of dollars of market research for the salaries of their actors. If HBO didn’t think she was worth this amount of money for this show, they simply wouldn’t pay her that.

If they’re spending that much in Z, the show will prob not last long.  Prob going to get too expensive to produce.  It’s done wonders for her career, more so than any movie so she may stick around to help increasing her star if the shows remains a phenomenon!

World of Reel is reporting that Euphoria is cancelled:

I'm hearing that the planned third season of Sam Levinson's "Euphoria" has been totally scrapped. It's not happening. They had plans to shoot it this summer, but that fell through and on Friday they told the cast that they could free up their schedules for other projects. I was already amazed that Levinson had managed to get all of the talent involved back, given their busy schedules. Many of the show's actors have now turned into movie stars — Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Colman Domingo, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney and Austin Abrams, to name a few. The plan to reunite all of them for a third, and final, season has clearly failed.
