Carlos said it was gonna be a cast of 20 players in that interview I posted. I wonder if they added two extra newbies after seeing all of the negative reaction from the fans when they announced Yusef and Gabriel. I sorta feel bad for lumping Rogelio with Gabriel without knowing him. Survivor isn't about celebrities going into the jungle to survive, it's more of the common people having their cat fights and drama. I didn't watch the first season but last season was a big hit because of the cast, I have hopes for them. There are rumours Gabo already tried to seduce David Ortega and he rejected him so they are now in conflict and Nahomi is getting a lot of transphobic hate from contestants (they want her to compete against men apparently). This should be a fun season. I would take any spoilers that originated on Twitter, Youtube or Instagram with a grain of salt. The FB group that usually has the most accurate leaks/spoilers hasn't said anything (at least publicly) about the contestants being transphobic towards Nahomi. They have a private FB group that people can pay to get into for more detailed spoilers, though. They haven't spilled too much about the first week, but... They said the first boot is a woman. There's apparently some sort of new twist involving exile this season, which puts the players that are sent to exile at risk of elimination. They feel more into the game and showing more unity than Halcones. I cannot handle both Gabriel and Ceriani at the same time, they are just too much, one needs to GO but I feel Gabo is going to win between the two. Also Ceriani's casual racism with Kenta Catalina trusting Rogelio about the Totem... girl... you're going to regret that Warrior is more sassy this time around too. Chamoy Posted June 20, 2022 Author Share Posted June 20, 2022 The first three episodes were... a lot. I'll start with the bad. They're still not properly introducing the contestants. I think most of them have gotten at least one confessional, but the first week was basically just the Yusef, Gabriel and Ceriani show. Gabriel and Ceriani are both insufferable. They keep bringing up things that have nothing to do with the game and I'm over it. Gabriel telling Catalina that she's a bad mom for leaving her daughter to be on Survivor was just... everything about him repulses me. I thought Ceriani would be a good villain, but he sounds way too rehearsed every time he speaks. The instant karma of him being sent to exile by his tribe to starve on his own after he made that rice joke. Yusef is giving organic villain compared to those two. He also has main character syndrome, but at least he's not going around picking fights with people for no reason. Now for the good. The changes to the format seem to be improving the pacing of the show. I'm still not sure how I feel about sending the people in exile directly into the elimination challenge. I guess it's better than the old format of having two tribal councils each week and the individual immunity winner sentencing the third person. The idol search scenes are still a mess. I like that they're finally giving them idol clues instead of just telling to go look for it, tho. Nahomi finding the idol on the green tribe and telling everyone about it right away. Whyyy. Hopefully Rogelio or Catalina find the yellow tribe idol. I noticed Rogelio was cheering Catalina on during the elimination challenge. I think he genuinely wants to work with her. I don't think I have a preference for a team yet, like you said Chamoy, I want to root for Jaguares but he makes it hard. I need him GONE. I'm suprised at how good of a player Nahomi has been winning two inmmunity challenges but her tribe seems to be full of flop people, Yusef going into Halcones will make it a little more balanced and now the challenges will be more interesting. They are somewhat using Catalina as one of the main villians this season. She feels the most betrayed by her. This is what they should be showing us in the episodes. It's ridiculous that we have to watch these interviews to find out about all of the alliances. Chamoy Posted July 4, 2022 Author Share Posted July 4, 2022 Rogelio sneaking in protein without anyone from production noticing. Like I said, these producers are clueless. I don't know why the yellow tribe keeps protecting Yusef and Gabriel so much, but the favoritism that these two are getting is unreal. Yusef literally admitted to pre-gaming with Rogelio and everyone just shrugged it off. Gabriel only came clean about Rogelio breaking the rules to distract everyone from his own poor gameplay, which ended up sending two of his tribe members to exile. Even the casuals are starting to turn against the yellow tribe. I love that the green tribe isn't idolizing Yusef like the yellow tribe. This automatically makes them the superior tribe to me. I'm going to pretend that they keep sending Karim into the extinction duels because Kenta, Cathe and Nahomi have an alliance and they're controlling every vote behind the scenes. The preview for the next episode with Cathe saying Yusef wants to take out all of the green tribe and get to the merge with his old tribe, I screamed. Here for her masterminding the downfall of every single man on her tribe that isn't Kenta. They're so cute together. I haven't been this obsessed with a Survivor couple since Jon and Jaclyn. I was so worried that they were gonna try to break them up when Karim started talking about keeping the tribe strong. I'm rooting for them to both make it far, even though the flop acun medya format doesn't really favor players like them. Yellow tribe just has to keep losing, I guess. I didn't mind Yusef at first but he got annoying real fast trying to be all noble about the issue. He fake AF. Ceriani being right about him from the get go the fact that Jaguares didn't send Gabo to exile after flopping HARD during negotiations either Here for Halcones to start winning if that means they can get rid of Gabo. The Nahomi/Kenta/Cathe alliance is actually happening sdksfjl. They should've included at least one brawny guy. Karim, Yusef and Christian all feel like they're on the outs. I'm worried that they're gonna try to form a counter alliance. Karim throwing a hissy fit and threatening to quit because his tribe hates him sdkfjl. That's the sort of energy we need from men on Survivor. Give up, king! The men keep saying Nahomi has everyone on the green tribe wrapped around her finger, so I think they would vote for her before Kenta/Cathe. Three yellow tribe members being sent into extinction, we won. Julian is a flop for snitching on Santi after he approached him for an alliance. First they wanna vote off all of the weak players, now they wanna vote off anyone that talks strategy. How boring. Seems like Ale, Cyn and Cuchao are the ones running the yellow tribe. I'm kinda glad that Santi and Gabriel survived, even though I liked Lupita more. Gabriel says he wants to work with the bottom players to take down the majority alliance. That's the first smart thing he has said all season. Let's see if he actually follows through with it.
