This new season is literally just porn :rip: The storyline is weak af and the acting is so cringe esp the new ones aka Ivan and Cruz

Samu's hair gets bigger each season while his actions become more idiotic

This really is a soft porn at this point :deadbanana4:

Is anyone even watching it for the plot :rip:

that r*pe storyline in the last 2 episodes was so forced :deadbanana: This season was a tad better than S4 but still bad. It was all worthy because of Ivan though :smitten:

Finished during the reset. I thought it was an improvement from S4 but it's still way below previous standards.

Ivan/Patrick have great chemistry but the former's character arc is very lazy.

:deadbanana4: I just don't like gaybait and it's very annoying that a show like this which is probably the gayest show on Netflix needs to resort to it to create conflict. Him sleeping with dad was kind of a gag but ridiculously unrealistic for the dad to then go tell Ivan to go be in a relationship with him :bibliahh:

Isadora didn't do anything for me in the first half of the season but I really thought she came around in the later episodes. Her and Caye had a really cool dynamic and I think it'd be nice to see them interact more in the next one.

For the rest of the characters, I really felt like they didn't try :deadbanana4: The Bilal storyline reeked of stereotypes, Rebe/Mencia barely got out of first gear this time around, the less said about Ari in anything the better. Phillipe's character is beyond rehabilitation at this point and he needs to be killed off next season. They can't fix it whatsoever.

I feel like Samu is actually dead, the way they framed and shot it made me feel like it was for real, and it was an incredibly underwhelming way for your MAIN CHARACTER to go out on. Even more evidence they should have used the short story budget for a movie to wrap it up with the OG cast and then brought in the siblings, Phillipe, etc. on a fresh season with none of the originals-- maybe keep Caye and Rebe since they were still relatively new but everyone else deserved a better ending/closure when their storylines naturally should have ended (Omar with Ander leaving, Samuel with Guzman/Carla leaving). I feel like the show is kind of a sinking ship and even though this season is being received better they're not going to be able to draw it out for as long as I'm sure they'd like.

The whole Philippe storyline was so unreal because I knew he wasn’t going to face consequences.

Spoiler

Yeah Ivan could have just been bi from the start, the cat and mouse game got annoying fast. And the whole pseudo incest was messy but fun. I’m still stuck on the dad pushing Ivan to Ari so he could sleep with Patrick :rip:

Philippe’s storyline was so messy. How are you suppose to feel about his character being accuse of rape when it’s forgotten until the last eps? And why have him show up to parties and a literal orgy? :biblio:

And they wasted Bilal’s character. He could have easily been added to the cast and joined the school but they had to give him that storyline.

This show really should have ended with S3. And if anything the budget they spent on the short stories and these seasons should've gone to a movie and call it a day.

Like what was that storyline? Even tho an improvement from S4 everyone did NOTHING related to the main plot until like the last 2 episodes at best. Patrick being a mess all season, ******* not just the Brazilian boy BUT also his father. Cayetana relegated to the sidelines and after telling us she needed to work in Las Encinas to pay for her education she's just happy to get fired. Philippe being an alleged rapist and nobody trying to actually do something with that. The Empress of Ibiza whose name I can't remember just being there to do drugs and defend Phillipe, and then they give her the rape victim storyline for one episode. Ari just existing to have sex with either Samuel or the Brazilian boy for then to fight with them. Rebecca, Omar and Mencía just playing around and doing barely anything all season.

I hope they end the show with the sixth season. Let the actors be free from this mess.

Can everyone who says that this show should've ended after S3 leave this thread? :ahh:

Like we get it... get over it omg it's just a show. Enjoy it for what it is now, no one is forcing you to watch. :deadbanana2:

This show is just something to carelessly watch, I don't get the outrage. Especially since S6 is confirmed :fan:

This season was def an improvement to S4 so hopefully it keeps improving and maybe even returning to former glory. The new characters were good additions except maybe the thief. Did his story even finish :skull:

Even though the quality has plummeted since season 3, the Ivan/Patrick relationship is the second best in the show after Carla/Samu.

The chemistry between the actors is perfect, I really bought that Ivan (and the actor himself) was bi and that had feelings for Patrick.

It was a bad season for me. It felt like softcore at this point. The plot was not good. Rebe and Mencia's relashionship was all over the place, rebe wants mencia, mencia doesn't want her, now mencia wants her, rebe doesn't want her, now rebe wants her, meancia doesn't, now mencia does and rebe doesn't...

Ivan's connection to Ari felt very forced. Omar's plot with the thieve kid was unnecessary and didn't go anywhere.

The french prince chasing Cayetana the whole season and paying dust to Isadora just to realize he REALLY cares for Isadora at the end...

That forced plot about Benjamin and Armando being in business together...

The whole season felt cheap. The positive things were the fashion and the fact that they're good looking I guess...
