Messssssss why am I not shocked. Two days ago it was almost too obvious that Sasha was going to win. Ppl are going to talk about it more if anetra really does win since it’ll be seen as an “upset” to a huge portion of the fan base. This is gonna be messy lol

In my view all the final queens are about even. I don’t particularly care who does or doesn’t get the crown, I just wouldn’t say Sasha’s run was particularly notable.

I keep my own track records so I don’t really care about what the show manufactures. I would have given Sasha wins for the Heaven advert, and for girl groups. I’m also 50/50 on the RuMix win (giving it to her or Luxx). With that said, none of these wins are particularly memorable (which is really the case for basically every challenge win this season minus the talent show and maybe Snatch Game). She didn’t bomb anything too poorly, I just don’t see this season as a steamroll. Her getting the interview and ball wins were highly suspect to me.

honestly i can think of detracting points for anetra, luxx, and mistress but none for sasha:

 

anetra: two bottoms, worst fashion of the top four, arguably capitalised off one moment for her entire momentum, invisible in the middle of the season

luxx: young/room to grow, lowest fan support (clearly seems to matter ), not a great lipsyncer if she were to make top two, not the most favourable edit, hard to identify a single defining moment in the season for her

mistress: edit was occasionally unfavourable, fine but not amazing lipsyncer, only one win, was consistent without having memorable challenge moments other than "mother has arrived", narrator of the season has never won(?)

 

i think it's kind of emblematic that two of the three most memorable moments (from a drag race insta account so skewed responses) for mistress weren't challenge performances https://www.instagram.com/p/Cq_-1RkqgRf/?hl=en

i think that's fair. i agree the top four are pretty close but sasha did perform the best for me. i would argue the neck crack win was pretty memorable, her rumix win was clear-cut to me, and i would say the ball/interview wins are both justified even though there were other options (luxx and mistress respectively).

if i judged i would give sasha zero bottoms, luxx one, and anetra and misstress two each. i think the fact that sasha was so consistent (and was maybe robbed of one or two wins), had excellent fashion, and would clearly be a great brand ambassador at this time gives her the win in my eyes

I do think Sasha is probably the best winner for the “moment” but I also think Paramount/Viacom can platform whoever they want however they want. Kandy Muse probably was at more high profile stuff than Kylie or all the S14 finalist combined.
