i think i read something about how Rhode Island is mostly an Italian-American cast and they said in the press release there's a focus on family elements so maybe they're using it as a replacement for RHONJ

 

its sad when any franchise ends but it's probably time for RHONJ to be done, lot of those women are coasting and Teresa , even if i find her uninteresting , will probably get her own spin off somehow. as for the new RHONY, good riddance. entire problem would have been fixed if they just added Dorinda, Luann and Sonja for season 2 even as just friends of with a cute paycheck. oh well ! we'll always have the first 11 ICONIC seasons

Happy that PHONY is canceled.

 

Would love a re-reboot of the old gals, but if Girls' Trip season was any indication, I think the magic is gone. It seems like most of them live in Florida now anyways.

 

I think the Housewives concept as a whole is really, truly dead. It's all surface-level glamour and social media clout now. There are no genuine friendships, interactions, or storylines any more. Even on the good one (Salt Lake), you can tell they're trying too hard to produce stories instead of just letting things happen.
