Honestly Karen has a very clear problem. Even the night of her arrest, instead of being humble and accepting she had made a mistake, she chose to verbally assault paramedics and law enforcement who were simply trying to help and do their job. Regardless of jail time or not, I chose she takes this moment as a chance to reflect and heal whatever trauma she has. Alcoholism is a disease, and the first step is to diagnose it within yourself. She's the master of deflection, but if she chooses to deflect from this; then she really is a lost cause and should not be out on the streets posing danger to others.

What makes you think this when the maximum sentence is 2 years? At most, she'll get a 3-6 months.
