darkfantasy Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Sooo much happened in Miami in one episode. I feel like this season has been a bit dry (not bad, just not last season) but that was great tv. And Salt Lake City, whew. I feel like we had a year of most housewife shows sucking, but SLC, Miami, Orange County are all delivering

Sutton going on blind dates and meddling is not cute. Crystal serving bathroom break realness. Garcelle and Sutton are much more secure than Crystal. She might get demoted to FOH. 1

She laughs off Sutton's ways. We know the diametrical duchess diva Dorit is living a ghetto fabulous life and is funny with money but her fashions stay on point. So she will get all the smoke from Miss Garcelle. Dorit is ironically not as privileged in that sense. She just pretends to be. 1

Even though you are wrong about your first statement...I have a feeling my luv my luv my luv the Diametrical Duchess Diva Dorit has had nine lives. She might get the axe but I also can see her Cynthia'ing her way in as others get cut and she lands on her feet. If Anna Marie gets cut and say Crystal gets demoted that could save Dorit. I thought she and Pk were going to follow through with the divorce to give her a new story arc but I don't thnk that is the case and she'd be in a better place on the show as the Divorced Diametrical Duchess Diva Dorit than not.
slik Posted January 5 Posted January 5 (edited) I particularly loved when Garcelle asked Dorit what had changed since she asked several years ago if the only POC her kids see are hired help and Dorit sat there clueless before making herself the victim again. Dorit could have taken the opportunity to learn about Black Lives Matter and racism in America (self-claimed child of the world after all) but she chose to stay in her bubble instead. Reddit and Twitter have eaten Dorit alive but on ATRL somehow Dorit is 'innocent' because people here like her fashion (which is clearly not up to par this season btw, someone is in financial trouble it seems). She’s on everyone’s tongue, she is having marriage issues, she’s involved in conflict with garcelle, and subtle issues with Erika and Kyle. I think there are way more reasons to keep her than to fire her 1

Overall it was such a weird episode. I didn't really enjoy it. This season of RHOBH is overall pretty boring, but I digress. Garcelle has every right to feel the way she feels, but something just felt SO OFF in this episode. Like there's something else going on. I mean clearly she doesn't like Dorit at all, but that's not it. I fully admit I think Garcelle is boring and not a great housewife, but I do think this season she is truly showing she's not a great fit for the show. Frankly, she doesn't seem to want to be on the show or be friends with the other ladies. I think she stays because it's helped her acting career. It just doesn't feel genuine. Plus, I'm not into this whole Garcelle & Sutton vs everyone else every episode. It's gotten old. 2
