The whole set up was great, just great. She didn't even pretend she was apart of the core four which would have thrown things off. She KNEW her position and Monica only exposed that she laughed at Jen Shah's stuff. Monica pivoted because none of Angie's emoji responses indicated that she was trashing every last housewife. It did give me DC vibes too. Glad you caught it. I think this was a Game of Thrones meets friend group where the layers of the CORE group...tier 2...surface level friends fleshed out and the core buried their hatches. I wondered WHY Heather was so willing to forgive Whitney when in fact Whitney was doing the most and reaching with t rex arms but she ALREADY had this thing in motion to check on Monica and she didn't want the pettiness to take away from the main focus. Heather, the LEGEND you are. The way production captured it makes me believe they kind of helped Heather put the pieces together throughout the time and Heather made sure to leave bread crumbs of doubt throughout the season... The reaction from these women about this news was more dramatized than when they found out their fellow cast member was stealing millions from the elderly to fund her lifestyle and cater the lavish parties they all spent their time at. 5 3 1

FOR ME … anything like too groundbreaking / earth shattering. it was no “it’s about Tom”. it also felt like it was only 20 minutes ??? idk it seemed so short ! anyway it will do wonders for the longevity of SLC i think Monica will stay. hopefully. Whitney is generally a very good production puppet and i can see her being the bridge to try and get Monica back into the group.

I literally said the same thing to a friend last night that Whitney will be the one to mend her friendship with Monica as apart of her "hilling" journey because she knows a lot of the fans like Monica so she will probably be the one to rally behind her. Plus Whitney clearly can't stand Heather, Lisa or Meredith tbh she needs Monica.

I think the easiest move for production is to just promote Mary to Full Time and keep the rest of the cast the same. Danna went live with Monica yesterday, so she could also be an easy add if needed. Monica said she has no issues with Whitney or Meredith, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they ride the middle next season to make things work.
LVP Posted January 3 Posted January 3 What an iconic episode! My only complaint is the tittle - mysteries revealed is not something like Amsterdamn! Dinner party form hell or Scary Island while the episode itself is as iconic as the others. Heather played it right whit showing “true friendship” and by saying that Jen was behind the black eye. I don’t think Monica will or should return - can’t imagine next season when all of the OGs will ganging up on her and fighting the same stuff for 15+ episodes. She was great addition for this season but that’s enough

305 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 That was seriously INCREDIBLE. Like holy **** they really hit the ******* jackpot with SLC and who would've thought out of all places?! From beginning to end this season has been EVERYTHING a fan of reality TV could ever wish for. As messy and as sneaky as Monica is nobody can deny her impact in making this season so legendary that I feel she is quite literally redefining Housewives and we're gonna be entering a new era. There's no doubt in my mind that the other cities HW's are watching and taking note, SLC has been contested as being the best for the past few seasons but now there is no question about it. I'm not sure how Monica can come back next season, as much as I love her how can she be on a cast where nobody can stand her? Unless they bring in one or two more ladies that are friendly with her idk how she can survive. Cannot wait for the reunion, I just know it's going to be 3 back to back to back SERVES.
