Dorit is a very entertaining housewife, but I have to be blunt. She's racist. Whether she realizes it or not. The way she constantly talks down to Garcelle and Crystal is disgusting, and she goes out of her way to do it every time. It's exhausting. Garcelle had enough and rightfully checked her nasty ass

I wouldn’t even call it tone deaf anymore. She already pulled the “I have a black friend” card and embarrassed herself with ignorance before. She’s had it out for Garcelle for a while and is eager to take her down, but she usually treads lightly because she knows Garcelle will clock her. She’s similarly eager to put Crystal in her place whenever she gets the chance as well. I genuinely think sees people of color as beneath her

Interesting that Dorit has had it out for Garcelle yet most of Garcelle's confessionals are about shading Dorit and then in scene saying that she likes Dorit.

 

Dorit doesn't have to take down or attempt to take down Garcelle when it is clear to everyone that Garcelle is protected for specific reasons. It would be a pointless attempt.

I'm on season 2 right now, I've never watched SLC and this is my first season and it has become my absolute fave franchise by farrrr, tv gold!!

It’s the way she went into this season telling herself to start **** any chance she gets since people were complaining she doesn’t do anything, and yet she’s just going about it the wrong way in every direction. And that one Erika Jayne cosplay confessional fit is grating to look at.

Garcelle spends her entire time on the show hunting for reasons to accuse Dorit of being racist (although Dorit does not help herself and is very tone deaf when it comes down to it), but it’s crickets when Sutton is using microaggressions towards Annemarie, or is just blatantly racist towards Crystal or Diana. She is a manipulative fraud who will do and say anything to parrot Twitter opinions and skate on by with terrible behaviour. If Garcelle is Eboni, we desperately need a Bershan that will see right through her ****.

Moving the goalpost won't change anything.

Dorit shades Erika and Sutton...she has not shaded Garcelle this or last season in her confessionals. Meanwhile Garcelle takes it easy on her friend Sutton but goes after Dorit in her confessional while saying in scene I like Dorit...which is a lie and she doesn't have to like her but keep it consistent.

 

Not sure Kyle is the reliable source considering her stuff is blowing up after her pretentious marriage. It's been all business and now she is going through a mid life crisis and she's pretending that she would leave a marriage due to infidelity when Mauricios has cheated and walks around with. awhole azz girlfriend like it's nothing

True she is the center but I was thrown off by your example/analogy because there are so many others that hit harder. Candice has talked crap. towhere there iS  no moving forward.

Yeeeeesss. It's all about Dorit being an easy target. Garcelle has no problem bringing up race when it's against stronger opponents like rinna or kyle but Dorit is such an easy target that Garcelle has spent seasons going after her and expecting her to take it and then when Dorit confronted her she ran away like the weakling she is...Dorit has put her foot in her mouth but Garcelle goes beyond that and really wants to take her to task. She is quiet when others get involved in stuff they should stay out of but she never misses an opportunity to call it out for Dorit.

 

Now I don't mind it because it's not boring but I don't get why people are going to pretend that Garcelle hasn't spent 3 seasons going after her but smirking when it's Sutton or holding back when it was Kyle or Crystal.

 

I hope at the reunion she just says Dorit, I don't like you and we can be cordial but we are just not meant to be friends and STICK TO IT. Dorit does not care about a relationship with Crystal, Garcelle, or Sutton and likely Anna Marie. She only cares about Kyle and semi-cares about Erika.

I don’t mind it either, it’s annoying that the fans act like she’s some innocent angel facing off with the racist devils, when she spent the first half of S12 accusing Crystal of baiting Sutton into saying something racist. She also didn’t even ask Rinna about the cast integration thing and just pushed ahead with accusing her of racism, not letting her confirm or deny it.
