RHOA was so disappointing, the way the reunion is basically a PR stunt for Marlo to get back in the viewers good graces after all the mess she caused all season.

What was moore (hehe) interesting than the actual ATL reunion was WWHL right after. 

 

Andy and Kandi discussed the reunion: specifically Marlo's damage control (whether or not it was a ploy or genuine), the Sham by Sheree disappointment and Kandi not getting first seat. It's funny how much influence fans/Twitter have on actual talking points brought up by Andy. Production definitely looks to online chatter to inform their shows. I'd never heard the whole first seat dynamic discussed on Bravo until now:

 

 

Andy asks "Do any of the ATL housewives actually vie for the seat next to me?" Kandi makes a good point that first seat doesn't reflect a housewife's check or tenure (implying she's most likely the highest paid and we all know she's been around since S2) and that some HWs mistakenly think they deserve it. 

 

Call her boring on the show, but Kandi's response speaks to her staying power. For years she's stayed humble, been a team player, and is confident in her success / never needs to stoop too low for attention. Yet she'll still pop off to defend her character (Marlo accusing her of some mess). These shows need a grounding force like Kandi. The issue with casting is now assembling a cast that A) actually cares about each other and B) has a firecracker who's not afraid to start conflict. Kim Z should def return to fill that role, I fear.

ATL's reunion could have been 1 part. 

 

The way the super fans of RHOA on twitter are trying to blame it being dry on the seating when that has nothing to do with it at all.

Sheree being the saving grace of that boring ass reunion  She's lowkey the best housewife of all time but even she cannot carry the franchise with all that DEAD WEIGHT (looking at you Kenya, Kandi and Marlo) the cast needs a severe shakeup.

The way I didn't watch RHOA reunion part II and feel content knowing I didn't miss ish.

 

We said heave ho to Porsha and production and execs constant image rehabilitation stunts to not make her look as stupid and dangerous as she really is only for them to just overdrive Marlo in image rehabilitation.

Is it THAt hard to find quality housewives material in ATL?

It was giving nothing. They really gave Sheree first seat just to say a few words about She and that was it. She’s such a bad reunion performer. Drew clearly is not the brightest bulb I fear. Anthony is just desperate to be on TV and idk why they’re even wasting time on him. None of the plot points really landed for me except Kenya’s renaissance era.

ATL was top dog for years and it’s still top 2/3 for Bravo and RHONY is done so yeah he doesn’t really keep up with what’s going on clearly lol

It was pretty boring season lbr. I stopped about halfway through and then binged the rest recently. It was okay... I think I'm one of the few who like Sanya though. She comes off like a housewife pro immediately.

Ok and ? RHOA fans are used to that they were the moment for more than one or two seasons. 1-9 Seasons are all top tier amazing seasons compared to every other franchise like there is no comparison. RHOBH is just big with white people that’s why it seems bigger than it is but RHOA is not far behind them even in their irrelevant era.
