BH might bring the ratings but there is NO WAY the entire FF5 makes it back next season. It's a PR nightmare the last few weeks in a BAD way.

Yeah Rinna is gone. I thought Dorit should be demoted earlier in the season, but she can stay now I guess. Erika can stay if she gets indicted. Crystal and Diana need to be FIRED!

WHy are you conflating issues? RHONY before getting "cancelled" are RHOBH are in two different realms. THey are loving all of this social media coverage because the haters want to prop up a nonsturdy trinity Garcelle/Sutton/Crystal to takedown FFF Dorit/Kyle/Rinna/Erika.

 

FFF remains a corny name, too.

 

This season is GIVING and the housewives/execs and production crew are getting their coins while we obsess.

As someone who has actually watched last season of RHONY, I promise you that they aren't conflating the two issues. The group of women on RHONY were in a great place, talked with each other and communicated after filming wrapped. It wasn't until the episodes started airing and the massive fan backlash did it erupt into a huge press war between Ramona/LuAnn/Leah vs Eboni. That is what got the show cancelled. The backlash getting to the press. Just like the backlash from this season of RHOBH making it to The Today Show, etc. RHOBH will not get cancelled, we'll agree on that much, but one of the FFF is going after this. And it's looking like Rinna and her minion.

This is kinda the most uncomfortable scene i've watched this year, i feel for poor Sutton....

 

I've only recently started getting into housewives so i'm not sure how much of it is scripted, but i get the sense that Kyle knows Sutton is not really made for reality TV since she gets easily vulnerable/emotional and doesn't filter herself compared to the rest of the women, hence it's the perfect opportunity for her to push Sutton over the edge in order to produce these "crying scenes/meltdowns" 

 

I remember in one of the early episodes of this season during one of Kyle's confessionals where she was like "What's with this new Sutton being all calm?" back when she desperately tried to get her to comment abt the Crystal allegations... There's this constant push to get a reaction out of her for ~drama i'm assuming, but she definitely crossed a line this time...

This isn't even the worst alliance of the BH franchise.  What's worse, darker and more sinister than FFF:

BH-Teddi/Dorit/Kyle/Rinna/Erika vs LVP (who was not innocent at all), everyone against LVP season 2, Kyle, Kim, Taylor vs Brandi (who was not innocent at all) noticing a pattern.

 

OC-The giraffe necked girl Macy or Megan/Tamra/Heather/Shannon against Kelly and also against Vicki, Tamra/Heather/Vicki/Gretchen against Alexis

 

NJ- everyone against Teresa, Marge/the blonde girl who used to be fat and thinks she's attractive now/Melissa vs Teresa, everyone against Danielle season 2.

 

NY- season 4 reunion chile, 

 

ATL- season 6 everyone against Kenya (and the queen still prevailed at Pillow talk), Porsha and Phaedra against Kandi (can't go any lower than drug and r word accusations),

 

POT- none so far.

 

The fact that FFF isn't even the worst currently from their own franchise.

I guess my point is comparing a show that nosedived in ratings since Bethenney's departure (Bethenney wasted no time commenting about it, too) vs the top ranked franchise and bringing up cancellation is what's not landing for me.

 

But I Do agree with a cast shakeup as long as my duchess is safe. Pick off Diana, Crystal, Rinna, and Erika in that order and THEN my diametrical duchess diva Dorit can depart. I'm ok with that but BH has been in a slump many times and finds away to get things back right and here's the thing things are GOODT in terms of entertainment, pop culture relevance and ratings. That's my point. to compare it to RHONY who's season is the personification of when pandering goes wrong after two consecutive declining seasons just seems like comparing oranges and tangerines. It's not giving alignment up close and personal.

RHOA had an even bigger nosedive than RHONY. RHOA 14 has had two episodes lower than any RHONY 13 episode as of today. Are they going to cancel RHOA? No, they aren't. Ratings aren't everything or the whole picture. They cancelled RHONY because Ramona and LuAnn took things too far, and Leah + Eboni were also unlikeable. There was absolutely no one to root for. Push comes to shove, they do care about fan reactions, and the backlash for BH is getting to the level that a shakeup is needed.

Actually, your Phaedra vs Kandi example is the perfect example of the double standards. Phaedra got immediately fired after acting a fool

I feel like they would get rid of Erika before Rinna because unfortunately they need Rinna to play the villain role…Kyle will probably go on an apology tour next season, while Dorit will continue to be neutral

Comparing live ratings vs ratings when streaming is more accessible is juvenile and painting a false narrative.
