The Real Housewives: The Megathread

ATL is giving all of the hallmarks of the NY reboot: 1) Eboni + Leah (2 newbies) dragging the whole vibe down = Sanya + Drew ruining the show, 2) rapid fire cast exodus of Carole + Tinsley + Bethenny + Dorinda = Nene, Cynthia, Porsha, and Eva all leaving in a very short period of time. The writing is on the wall I fear…

Bravo is making us wait for too long, I miss BH so much :gaycat7:

I am so sad to see Atlanta is where it is now.

What i feel like the peach holders in season 16 should be:

Kenya, Kandi, Drew, Kim, Claudia, Shamari and Porsha or a new peach holder. (Sheree and Marlo, friends and maybe Monyetta, let's see her what she brings this season).

This is WHAT I THINK. I don't need y'all to argue with me that i'm wrong or anything else.

Bringing Kim Z back is a right decision. Now bring back either Shamari or Claudia. Letting both of them go after 1 season was a dumb idea. Phaedra should have come back instead of heading to M2M, and Porsha needs to get a highly publicized divorce and come back as well. They need Cynthia, and Kenya can stay, but Kandi, Marlo, Sheree, and Sanya all need to go

The fact they let Claudia go when she dragged Nene to hell and back with spare change is shocking to me

I think when all you do is recycle reads from twitter because you were brought on ready to fight Nene then that's not gonna be enough to keep the job. Nene won in the end showing her worth when she completely clowned Claudia and that bob which had the audience and the girls at the table tickled.

RHOA's fall from grace is so sad :gaycat6:

i'm catching up on the latest season of potomac and i am struggling a bit with how clear it is that these women cannot stand each other. it's become all about deflection and finding moments to throw each other under the bus which is not a fun place for housewives to be at all the time (just finished the miami trip for reference).

Omg so far away. BH is honestly the best current franchise. It still feels like the show and the cast is just good

I am watching Potomac for the first time, I am on s4 now when they go to the Cayman and it seems to be like they could never stand each other lol

It's one of the reasons I don't like it as much, they can never let go of anything, their feuds are the same from the beginning. In RHOA, RHOBH and RHONY they could be at each other's throat and then laughing their head off 5 mins after.

The vibe in RHOP is always so tense. Also Ashley and Robyn are just so unlikable ugh

These other franchises better pray the NY reboot flops because if it's a hit they're all getting rebooted I fear.

yeah i think cause in those franchises you mentioned, there are genuine friendships and relationships amongst those groups of women and at the end of the day, they do have each other’s backs (most of the time). the friendships especially in the latest season of potomac seem like the women aligning with each other against the woman they hate atm. hoping the dynamics eventually change but i think that would require some recasting

I really am curious how NYC reboot will do in ratings. How much do you think it will do?

I say max. 500k :gaycat6:

(Hope i'm wrong, maybe with time they will bring back housewives from the older seasons.)

Idk I don't feel like it will be high due to the amount of fans who don't support the old cast being gone, the era of streaming and people just losing interest in housewives overall.

That doesn't mean the show itself won't be good but I'm not certain about how the ratings will be for sure.

I don't think a lot of the housewives fans are actually going to watch it. I'm thinking it might do Dubai numbers if that?

They let her go cause she wouldn’t talk about her relationships and had nothing going on in her life lol

she was offered a friend of and said no

i think it'll almost certainly flop. bravo will spin it and say it's meeting their expectations and do another season or two before bringing on OGs or cancelling the show outright.

Hopefully it flops hard so they cancel it and bring back the OG cast. By that point there will be even stronger anticipation for them to return, and if by then Bethenny finally realizes RH is good for her career, she’ll join too and ratings will soar

I wish there was a Wendy Williams/Nina Bonina type of character that did HW recaps. Like Kelly Dodd (assuming she could reign in the -phobic rants). None of the girls I've listened to do it for me :chick2:

RHOP has been better than RHOA since season 3 of RHOP imo. Watching Atlanta is like watching paint dry. :sadviolin:

I still can't believe they completely rebooted RHONY it just feels so extreme :psyduck:

RHOC should have been the test city for a reboot tbh.

RHONY could have kept like Luann and one other to integrate into a new cast.

RHONY is awful without Bethenny y’all over hype that show.

RHOP & RHONJ>>>>
