Barbarian was EVERYTHING! the end was a little over the top but still one of the top 5 best horror releases of the year for me.

I don't have doubt it's great, having both 79 on Metacritic and 7,7 on IMDB is a rarity for a horror movie these days, even 'Nope' couldn't do it.

it's a very low-key movie. like is said before it's more like a humanist/political film rather than a horror. 

if you're expecting a huge moment you'll be disappointed.

i'm expecting more of an art body horror film (and yes low key BUT the aesthetic is definitely edgy af!) so i probably am ready for exactly what i have in mind

Barbarian's first act was great but then it tried to be too many things. I appreciate the ambition though
