butchered how?

The dark vibes of the arc were basically removed lmao

Spoiler

Plus, some scenes were censored like Deku smashing Shigaraki's jaw

The Deku vs Shigaraki fight, which is one of the highlights of the War Arc, consisted mostly in still frames. No animation whatsoever sadly.

It wasn't a terrible episode per se, but I demanded way more than that for the greatest fight between the main character and the antagonist. At least the Bakugo subplot was executed decently.

OT: Yesterday's episode though :jonny2:

Simply marvellous. Hopefully they are redeeming themselves with this new arc.

MHA is serving the content we WANTED!!!:jonny:

Yesterday's episode had me on the edge of my seat!

Glad everyone is enjoying MHA anime again, the manga is in a bit of a lull in the current arc but I think there’s some behind the scenes stuff/drama going on not sure tho. Regardless I think the anime is pretty much set to keep doing well for a while now. The butchered season 5 was almost worth it now

High Card’s first episode was super fun. :clap3:

The author is overworked.

He was forced to put off publishing some chapters due to health issues.

Hopefully he has rested a bit thanks to the Christmas and NYE break.

Everyone is watching PEAKLAND Saga correct??? Good! :loki:

I tried really hard to like Mamoru Hosoda films but I've watched 2 so far and both didn't connect with me that much and one of them pisses me off the more I think about it (but they did serve great gowns beautiful gowns)

I gave up on the rest cause just watching parts of them already repels me and I just can't get into that furry nonsense, oh well

apparently Mappa realised they needed more time to work on part 3 than intended originally but Kodansha didn't want to push the date back so this is why it will be split cour instead of one

allegedly part 3 will be 2 movies/long episodes

They're going to hell.

Season 4 Part 1 - 2020-2021

Season 4 Part 2 - 2022

Season 4 Part 3 - 2023

Season 4 Part 3.5 - 2023-?

HATE this generation of media. Everything has to be stretched out to the max, and it's so obvious a cash grab. Had they released it all in 2022, they would've lost their biggest money maker. But now you got fans buying in 4 (maybe 5) different calendar years. Sick.

A ******* joke and lack of respect for the fans.

maybe it's too late but:

yes she kinda dies but it's HEAVILY implied that she might have survived. Her last appearance was around 85 chapters ago

:rip: but most of the fanbase still hopes she's alive
