that superhero movies audience still skews majority male so not catering to that group will harm films of the genre 

 

the worst part being the continued struggle of box office success when the lead is a woc.

 

it’s bad, but whatever in two weeks it will be all about how aquaman is tracking less then the marvels and are superheroes films really over

The superhero genre is on its way out anyway. Only a few superhero movies were big hits this year, with most failing or underperforming.

I think there will always be superhero movies that do well but it’s gotten out of hand in recent years  

 

Green lighting 100+ projects about irrelevant characters the fans of these franchises barely know? Be serious please

Ok but won’t this same energy apply to the video game genre 

 

and other action oriented types

 

the problem was when superhero genre succeed and netted male actor big returns without giving women the same opportunities

3 of the top grossing films this year are Marvel superhero films  people just ignore that fact

 

we know exactly why this film is getting dragged hardest compared to the 4 other Comic box office Bombs this year. 
 

but I’ll admit I was wrong, I thought the Marvels would do better.

Yep. That's what sets CBMs like The Batman and Joker apart from the rest and why they've been able to serve ART and CHARTS. @Walk_Away21

The only Marvel film next year is DP3. The only DC film next year is JFAD

 

I’m very happy about that. I think Marvel can still turn things around if they cancel all the useless **** and just focus on F4 and XMen.

The spiderman-esk bad guy was probably the least intimidating villain I've seen in a while, like "ohh nooo he is coming and might throw me across a diner for some reason!" like... we can do a bit better than that.
