Elvis has more than double the budget of Rocketman, but still it's a cute little hit.

She didn't say it flopped, but she is right that the debut numbers are kinda soft. Even the Resident Evil series outsold and that has 8 episodes compared to Sandman's 10.

it doesn't matter the budget. Rocketman was pre pandemic and had a HUGE marketing campaign that lasted like a year. They started promoting it during the oscars months before its release
