I'll say this, Kameron Michaels could have pulled a So Emotional during the last lipsync and she STILL wouldn't have won. It's all a myth.

Everyone at the finale said Willow and Aquaria won the last lipsync. Aquaria did lose to Eureka during their first lipsync though. 

 

And with Jaida... Gigi was almost disqualified -- next to her tone deaf comments and not being political during one of the most important election years it was easy to see why she lost.

Who “won” is largely subjective unless it’s a Sasha-level stomp. I would say Camden being crunch wrap supreme in the entire finale lost her the season but others wouldn’t feel that way. 
 

At the end of the day, production is gonna crown their most marketable queen, and all contestants should know this going into the show. If they don’t.. well that’s on them.

I agree. The way almost all of the girls managed to get at least one win nowadays when they were a lot more elusive in the earlier seasons/more indicative of competition dominance kind of skew the track record narrative because the judging is typically broken for the sake of showing the girls with little win equity mercy.

I knew it was sarcasm but where was the humour? Cry about sjws all you want but since when was “gay culture” ever about trashing trans women   Hating a minority is not a culture babe.
Anyways I was much too young to vote much less be watching RPDR in 2009 but thanks grandpa on the history lesson.  

 

But I can agree Willow is mediocre. Not for being trans but for fizzling into the background from episode 3.

I think part of it is just that the “BFA” queens are very easy to slate into a runner-up spot. They do well in the challenge so you don’t really really have to exaggerate to give them a win, but they also usually lack personality so people don’t think they’re super robbed when they lose. They’re there to be the rival for the more popular queen. 
 

You could swap Camden, Rosé, and Ella into each other’s seasons and nothing would change, cause they’re basically the same archetype.

Who’s trashing or hating trans women?  Show me where I trashed Willow sonique or kornbread or anyone this season specifically for being trans? I mock the fandom’s sudden awakening specifically and not these queens.  The same way this thread tells Latinos that we are idiots for thinking Puerto Rican/Mexican queens are treated unfairly, same applies to trans women. No special treatment right??  We are only critiquing their craft. Yes Willow fizzled. Yes Willow was overhyped and payola’s. That is why i don’t like her as a winner and that’s not an attack on trans women.  I liked her from the beginning and then Camden provee s superior talent. Just facts. Nothing more.
