i do not want to get attacked so i apologise for my insensitivity in advance, but i kinda didn't believe her story ngl  but yeah he is definitely a fierce designer.

I’ve seen people say before they didn’t connect with an entire season’s cast and I never understood that, but baby, this is that season for me. Plane Jane is unfunny, Amanda had the lamest version of the baby queen storyline so far (we went from Shangela to this?), Mhi’Ya is literally just there to flip around the stage a few times, Morphine isn’t doing excelling at anything, Dawn is actually not very unique despite branding herself as being unique, either Nymphia or Sapphira are obviously going to win, etc. etc.

 

The season is still fun to watch because it’s Drag Race and these are drag queens, but whew, this is a very rough cast for me.

Thank you! Completely agree. It's just not a strong cast aside from Plane, Q, Sapphira, and Nymphia. Top 4 is clear. Plasma is doing okay, but we know she won't win. It's always been super predictable but since S13 it's gotten worse. S15 was such a good season and a great cast, even if we know a lot of those girls had no chance at the crown, it still felt a lot better than S16 thus far though they are similar tbh.

 

Amanda = Amethyst (busted baby)

Mirage = Poppy (early boot fan fave)

Geneva = Aura (Tx pageant queen who served WIN-OUT)

And if Mhyia gets the LSLPR boot that's = Jax

 

And I forgot about first outs actually! But Irene was way more memorable and actually a gaggy elimination, which was a lot more entertaining. But yeah I think S15 queens were better and more polished overall. In Season 3 rules, these early boot S16 girls are boogers. They need more STACKED casts!

The thing is that in earlier seasons we weren't trained enough yet to be able to spot the winner from episode 1. S3-8 would be just as predictable if they aired today. At least with S16 there are 3 potential winners so far based on their edit whereas Raja, Jinkx, Bianca, Sasha Colby, Bob, Sharon and Violet all had obvious winner edits but we were younger and couldn't clock them yet.

I want Sapphira to have her breakthrough moment on snatch game but it depends on who she picks. Jane and Plasma will make Ru laugh the most. The rest will range from bombs to mids.

plasma will either win or get the cringe wyd edit. judging by the rdr live, none of these queens can get in a completely different character except her (and maybe plane) so she will get some sort of storyline on that episode, i assume.

Plasma is the only queen I think would genuinely do well in Snatch Game. I can see a few of the queens winning with odd characters like “Maria the Robot” though.

I didn’t watch S3 for the first time until like 2017, but Raja’s winner edit was immediately clockable to me back then.

 

I’d say Raja, Sharon, Bianca, Bob, Aquaria, Symone, Willow & Sasha were all pretty clockable winners from the jump.

 

S1 I initially thought Nina F was getting the winners edit, S2 was just hard to tell at first, S5 had too many strong queens until Jinkx became clear at snatch game, I thought Ginger would win S7 when I watched , S9 I thought Shea got the winner edit, Brooke could’ve easily won S11, I’m convinced they wanted to crown Gigi for S12 until the GP said hold tf up!

I don't feel so alone now. Reddit has had a couple threads titled "Is this the best season since S9?" and I'm baffled. Last season felt much more refreshing and enjoyable to me.

Nymphia is THEE winner. Sapphira's drag is top notch but she's kinda boring when she's not performing and she gets annoying when she does the deep man voice that she thinks is hilarious for some reason.

I don't agree with the S16 discourse I'm seeing. To me this season is one of the most entertaining in a while, a return to form even in some ways.

If Jane plays her cards right she could do well in Snatch. She seems to be okay at doing characters ie the bimbo thing. 
 

I wanted to hate ha since her shade is poor, but her talent is kinda backing up her ruthlessness.

The way I remember it: Ginger had one (but didn’t have one in untucked) then around the time Trixie came back/Violet’s win with Katya it died out.

Brooke until the top 5 episode then she completely became a villain last minute.

 

and Shea is a unique one since it was the first lipsync for the crown.

Jeez the way Willam and Alaska are so BOTHERED by Ms. Plane Jane on their podcast. They swear like Plane won’t get booked or people won’t like her but at the minimum she’ll tour with Voss or work more with WoW. And if they don’t book her in LA, hmmm, wonder what girl might have some of these club bookers ear who’s mouthing off against Ms. Plane the most ??? 🧐🧐🧐

why would they be bitter? Alaska constantly sells out shows all over the world and Willam is in a very popular off-broadway play... they know better than any of us if Plane's action on the show will have irl consequences or not.

the queens that force themselves to be fake and congenial can not stand miss plane's honesty. they swear she is rude but none of what plane said has been untrue, similar to yvie on her season, and she is not even screaming at the girls like yvie did.
