You are correct about India. Terrible person that she is (allegedly), she really showed how much she wants it. Kahanna really thought that after getting surgical procedures and being a part of the Las Vegas Drag Race show that she could get away with being attractive and having a good body. Aside from having a better wardrobe and paint better, there has been zero growth in any other catagory.

I was just about to say this. I could see her going all the way. She's in the same school of drag as Jimbo: creative, weird, glamorous, funny. Rupaul loves that. Alaska's been mentioning AW2 on her podcast and is def pining to be on the next one! (Her recent appearance on the Pit Stop is a good sign... I was a little worried for a sec about her association with Willam making producers weary of her)

IA. It felt super staged to me. The fact that she went through with it and it just sorta happened in like 1 minute was super weird and put a damper on the rest of the episode for me. Heidi had no character, it was just Heidi and a few props. I think it’s telling that Heidi felt like she was going to be in the bottom. it was just Heidi bc who heard Blackbeard talk/behave? point was, she was funny. kahanna completely bombed and jessica was playing herslef not being funny. it's just stupid quit a competition you signed up for. heidi didn't even do anything bad, on the contrary, kahanna ****** up and had no comebacks

Yeah I listen to race chasers weekly. She wants it so bad. I was also nervous that Ru/WOW lost interest/respect for Alaska since her and Willam work so closely together, but honestly, every queen works with Willam. So Ru can get over it

I don't know why this season isn't working for me. I don't feel like Jimbo is being particularly payola'd (other than Maybe that design challenge high placement) she's just that talented. Jimbo really is one of the most talented queens we have seen on the show apart from obviously dancing and lip syncing where she sucks. Her Joan Rivers snatch game on Candada s1 was better than Loosey Laduca's and that (rightfully) got rave reviews from Ru and the fandom. Maybe it's just that Jimbo isn't being as fun as she usually is because of what happened on UK vs the world and how the fandom reacts to her? She's doing the Sasha Colby quet congenial frontrunner thing but season 15 had a lot of interesting stuff with other girls where as so far this has mostly been Heidi being miserable and then quitting. It's feeling like AS5 where it was just Cracker and Shae dominating whilst also being very boring and the only interesting stuff involved Jujubee and Alexis but at least they got plenty of screen time on that season.

Also, while I’m not the biggest Aquaria stan, the narrative that she would flop in AW doesn’t seem right. She’s pretty well rounded in everything, just not the ultimate best in any category. It’ll be easy to get her a few stars, and I can see her in the top 4 for most casts.

 

Violet is the one who I don’t see making it to the end. She’s good at fashion and that is truly it. She would need charity stars to get to the end.

That’s why I doubt Violet is willing to compete in an AW season. From the US seasons, I think the more likely queens are:

 

- Sasha Velour

- Aquaria

- Symone

- Willow Pill

- Sasha Colby

- Alaska

 

Plus, Jimbo. I don’t think Bob or Bianca have any desire or interest in competing again (especially Bianca).

 

That cast plus a couple of international winners (Priyanka/Icesis for Canada, Krystal/Lawrence for UK) is probably what AW2 is going to look like.

I would agree for AW1. I feel like Bob would smash snatch game/roast and then kinda just not care about the rest maybe slay the acting too but now that Monet has competed and won (the gp) I feel like Bob would try hard just to spite her

I've been liking the season up until last week's episode which really soured it for me. They tried having that Adore moment but no one fought to convince Heidi to stay which made it seem rushed/staged. We'll see how this week goes but it felt deflated after Heidi's exit. Hopefully Jimbo and Kandi can lighten things up.

Now this cast would eat. It's a lot of newer girls though so I wonder if Sharon would come back. Her and Alaska being on screen together... They could really milk that backstory narrative. Priyanka would be a great addition too.
