I honestly haven’t been able to follow this story too well beyond that one tweet, but it seems unfair to compare this to SP, who repeatedly preyed on men for an extended period of time. SA is never okay regardless but yeah, I wish there was a solid story about this, because even beyond affecting PJ’s career, the amount of stories surrounding drag queens sexually assaulting people (Shangela, Soju, SP, etc) and the narrative around drag queens being predatory is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. If serious accusations are going to be made, there needs to be a serious account beyond two tweets.

I’m pretty much there with you. The dragula queens (koko Caine added to the dogpile but didn’t add any proof or anything like that) are the only ones saying anything and Jay Kay is friends with Dawn. Now I don’t know if there’s something up because of this fact or not, but the fact that the only thing is this one occurrence kind of makes me pause, if only for a moment. 
 

Unwanted contact should not happen. Now, I’ve read a few conflicting things about this happening at a bar that is known for doing very ‘immersive’ shows where this kind of behavior is normal. Idk if that is true or not but if it is, and someone went to a show where this is the norm, then…

 

idk. If someone else comes out with a story about plane Jane she’s done for. I don’t feel that it’s correct to completely cancel someone when we have some small details about a one time thing. It doesn’t seem right to completely end someone’s career without having the full details - especially when we aren’t talking about SP, Soju, Shangela, or CL levels of shittery. I’m wondering if this comes up in the show like Scarlet Adam’s doing blackface did on DU. Maybe that’s why no one has commented on it yet?

A plane Jane friend posted the video of the incident on Twitter and even apology texts from Jane after the it and ummmmm  I feel like Jane was done dirty. It looked by all accounts that she put a dollar bill in a guys waistband.  But I’m going to refrain from making a final judgment until there’s more clarification.  Maybe this incident is not the *actual* video right? Idk

this cast is so dry to me as of right now. However, I will say I've seen Xunami in person 1-2 years ago and she had the crowd very hyped and engaged (bc of a Nicki Minaj number though).

If they believe that "there's room for growth", why didn't they take it to Plane Jane herself, especially when she did reach out, apologized and held herself accountable (even tho the genitals thing might have not happened), or to the owners of the bar she performs in? Why waiting until she's announced on DR instead of dealing with the situation right away if you "want people to do better"?

Actually ****ing disgusting. I knew something was suspicious about this entire situation. No footage, no comments from other people coming out, no serious proof?? 

 

Jay Kay and Koco should be absolutely ashamed of themselves but the former is just doubling down. It’s absolutely horrid to make such serious claims when there is such a scary narrative being pushed against drag performers being predators at the moment. The constant attempt to cancel people by blowing things out of proportion for a vendetta, clout, whatever stupid reason is not only tired it’s ****ing dangerous. 
 

Someone is going to harm themselves one of these days over being witch hunted. A large part of this fanbase needs to grow a brain too and stop following the mob mentality just to feel a sense of moral superiority. It’s out of control at this point.

If the PJ allegations were truly only over the events in that video then she should sue for defamation. The damage is done to her reputation. Even worse, this **** makes it more difficult for real victims to come forward.
