This. let's calm down a bit not everyone wants to be the next rupaul, Willow had a great showing, got the check and is living comfortably and I'm sure she's ok with that. Why does it warrant such vitriol and weird commentary?

The girls are shading each other from the get go and the fact they didn’t edit it out has to be a sign even more is coming.

 

To be honest I’m living for the first three queens in except Aura. She’s gorgeous but has given me nothing so far (I’m also including her MtQ and promo interviews).

He flexed that twink arm and y’all act like he’s the Adonis of drag now. Not him having that stupid butterfly tattoo like Kameron Michaels too. He was so cringe saying goddess and then pointing to his twink  bicep. I know far too many gays like him to already be turned off by the butch “straight" fronting.  Marcia surprised me. She was the only one that was interesting and had a clever entrance. Someone in the comments on YouTube dragged Lux saying she was giving season 9 Eureka.  I see it. I Can tell she’s going to be suffocating.  Overall i think the first in girls will be the first out.  They didn’t give what i needed them to give. 

 

Edit not me confusing  Anetra and Aura. In drag they look similar. Sue me. The butterfly tattoo is on  anetra.

Not that this is a good judge of their lipsyncing skills but Marcia looks a bit in the vein of Jan/Rose lipsync wise.

Dakota mixed the styles so well (starlet 2). She has a good eye for vintage/modern without overdoing it and she's green too. I am interested in MMM though!

In case you missed it, Irene is an icon. The way she ate Luxx up multiple times in the five minutes footage we've seen had me screaming. A bit early to tell, but she's lowekey what I expected Bosco to be.

 

Luxx is gorgeous and I live for the entrance. The wigline was showing though, the makeup is not blended and she looks... Grey? The delusion is giving though, we need more queens like her for entertainTment purposes.

 

Aura is... Ok I guess. Basic entrance, basic tagline, basic outfit and visibile lace for the gawds. She really had the nerve to call Marcia basic. Looks like she'll give a good performance when the occasion presents itself though.

 

Marcia had the best package out of the first four for me. Campy and funny entrance, nice outfit/wig/make up and very self aware (the "weaponizing the BFA" and the look she gave when they compared her to Jan made me laugh out loud). I think I'm really gonna love her.

Apparently you can't critique her drag anymore otherwise you're an ableist.  The irony is that the very people saying owh are monsters and you must handle her with kid glove, those  are the ones being ableist. Imagine  thinking someone is so defenseless and can't do anything because of a disability. She can thrive with a disability.  Her drag choices post season win have been underwhelming. That's that.  I'm kinda over reading these essays about it. We wish her prosperity and health and thats that.

No one even hates Willow though. I certainly don't. You just have people on here virtue signaling and caping for their white fave to defend Willow being called a flop winner...which she factually is. The gag is she's got less than a quarter of the heat during her reign than Symone did during hers, despite Symone literally accomplishing 10x more and yet the same old typical white saviors are in here defending Willow's floppage and throwing out ableism accusations left and right. Twice as hard for half as much doesn't even cover it cause even when Symone was trailblazing with celebrities, at industry events, and on magazine covers, this thread downplayed it entirely and still called her a flop with NO backlash yet less than a year later Willow turns out to be 10x less accomplished and suddenly you have people defending that. This thread and fandom will always go to bat for a white queen and minimize a black one at every opportunity.

Let us take a look back how RuPaul's successor and the true heir to the Drag Race throne became the greatest winner of all time:

 

 



 

Symone became an immediate stand-out from the Meet the Queens Reveal in December 2020, where she outdid her entire cast in both her promo looks. Could someone from the same house G*gi Goodie came from actually serve quality fashion with a defined and branded aesthetic instead of just cosplaying in Halloween costumes made by their mom?

 

The answer was yes.

 



 

Symone gave The Best Promo Look of All Time and was rightfully centered in the middle of the cast cause even VH1 couldn't bother to hide who the star of the season was.

 



 

Episode 1 premiered with a controversial twist, immediately dividing the Best and Worst of the cast. Guess which group Thee Symone was in?

 



 

Inspired by fellow model Gisele Bunchden, Symone walked into the competition in a polaroid dress literally no queen but her could ever pull off and faced off against fan favorite at the time Tamisha Iman in a lipsync to Pleasure Principal

After cementing herself as the front runner already, Symone decided to dig her heels even further into her competitors necks by slaying them AGAIN.

By the time the entire cast got together on Episode 4, Symone was the only queen with 3 wins under her belt. You would think production would try to push her to the side a bit to give the other queens a chance but the power of Symone is just too strong. Symone already certified herself as the look queen and performer of the season in just 2 episodes but The Ebony Enchantress said I'm gonna be the actress and meme queen, as well.

 

 

Symone managed to make the horrible acting challenge bearable with her iconic Flag Fac'try and then proceeded to bring black culture center stage to the runway with her unforgettable Train for Days look

 

CHALLENGE WIN #2



 

In 3 episodes, Symone's track record was WIN-WIN-WIN. The stuff of legends and the most dominant start of any season by any queen EVER

 

It took 5 entire episodes into the season for a moment where Symone didn't completely obliterate her competition during the Bag Ball. Knowing she's a legend in the making, Symone never bothered to learn how to sew since she knew she'd soon be too successful to ever need to.

 





 

Symone took a break for episode 5, coincidentally the worst challenge of the season but still paid tribute to her future self, RuPaul with another spectacular runway

 



 

Episode 6 SHOULD'VE been another win for Thee Symone but the producers had to acknowledge that there were other queens in the werk room still and gifted Olivia Symone's deserved 3rd win for Bossy Rossy instead.

 



 

As if there's any doubt who won the runway though. Another iconic look in the basket for Thee Symone I fear

 





 

Deciding that it wouldn't be great television for her to just dominate the entire season, Symone decide to flop the Social Media Rusical for vulnerability

Snatch Game arrived and Symone was robbed of a high placement for her brilliant Harriet Tubman impersonation. Never fear though, even when the production is not giving her her flowers, a legend takes matters into her own hands. And Symone did just that by stopping the world with her iconic, breath-taking Fascinators look. Breaking the 4th wall of reality television and forcing this racist ass fanbase to recognize the atrocities black people are faced with in this country. A moment for the ages.

 



 

THEE Symone made actual headlines with this look. Yahoo called it HISTORIC, Entertainment Weekly called it THE MOST POWERFUL LOOK IN DRAG RACE HERSTORY

 

On Episode 10, the Makeover challenge came along and Symone decided to be charitable and give local kooky weirdo and overrated white fave Utica her first and only win of the season

And like a true legend, Symone is most comfortable at the top. So she won the very next episode as well, introducing us to the iconic jingle for Sweet Toof, giving her a historic, record-breaking 4th win

It's hard to believe that just 364 days ago, our Best Winner of All Time was crowned. To think it's only been a year must be shocking since she's accomplished more than most queens will in their entire lifetime in just the span of one year - in the midst of a pandemic mind you.
