Because the mess on Reddit was (and is) constantly brought up in an attempt to cancel her, so it's a bit weird that the discussion shifted as soon as the news that Monét and Trinity would make and alliance got out (which came out with the trailer, posted roughly around the same time Jinkx's drama started).

Although I don't think she did good enough to be top 2, the case some user made about Jinkx being deserving of the spot was not that absurd considering no one really did amazing in the challenge, so no, that didn't alert my blind stanning and double standard alarm.

Honestly Bimini (or someone more likable than those two) could have booted Raja, and I’d be less annoyed. I just don’t like either of their pretentious and rude natures. Violet has had this coming for awhile ever since people overpraised her S13 ball Pit Stop and now it’s coming back to bite. I live.

 

Also, the Jinkx stans still concerned that ATRL posts are going to ruin Jinkx’s chances to win when people are just commenting on her weird (yes WEIRD) fetish for young looking boys. I mean, it’s clearly her preference and she’s made that pretty clear. More power to her, someone has to love people who look underaged, but she chose to share that on a very public platform and I don’t really see an issue with expressing my discomfort with it on a forum where Jinkx likely won’t ever see it anyways. I don’t really get the hyper-defensive stance alot of Jinkx stans are taking with this, it’s not problematic but it obviously walks a line that might make people uncomfortable. It’s not a new debate at all, Jinkx just involved herself in it.  

The fact that you’re even trying to claim that it isn’t one of her strong preferences in a man when she’s made it pretty clear that it is shows that it’s not really something you’d want to associate with a queen you like’s brand. And for good reason imo. 
 

That being said, I’ve already said in this thread that I don’t think it discredits Jinkx’s talents or makes her a bad person in any way, nor do I think it’s wrong. It’s just a fact that has been brought to my attention that I personally do not enjoy thinking about whenever I think of her. Aside from some questionable takes about Raja's looks, both episodes of FFR weren't that bad. I feel like people are exaggerating the harshness of Violet's critiques.

 

Even though I disagree with some of them, at least Violet's dissenting opinions give some drama and interest to the reviews.
