For me, it's always the fact that Sasha Velour not only did a wig reveal, but the entire performance is brilliant and personal. The song itself is about unrequited/lost love, but Sasha used it as a metaphor to give love and show memory to her mother who died by using each glove (filled with roses) as a sign of honor and respect like one would at a funeral. Then she did the wig reveal with the mass of roses as you would leave a bouquet of flowers upon a casket as you bury the dead (and her opponent in this instance) to show the final goodbye. Adding the fact that her mother died of cancer and she revealed to a bald head and it just raises the level by infinity. 

 

Like, the levels of that performance still shake me, there is NO way Ru couldn't crown her. Everyone in that room with higher education (sorry, but it's true) saw things other girls did not see. Sasha Velour and Cheddar Gorgeous operate on another level.
