I signed up to be vaccinated the minute they allowed people my age to book an appointment, but they wanted to give me Janssen just because I’m a guy (when several countries were already banning it for safety reasons..…..) and yeah I wasn’t interested. So they punished me. They started booking me appointments automatically at inconvenient times, sometimes 5 minutes before the appointment and sometimes without telling me, so that I couldn’t book an appointment for a time that worked for me or show up to the vaccination center without one. I really hope that it's possible to travel independently in December, but I suspect that emergency measures will be in place by then instead.
