Hmmm, Dems pushing an unpopular candidate against Trump and ignoring all the warning signs to the detriment of the American people. Where have I seen this before :sistrens:

It all reminds me of the time Clinton thought credentialism was somehow impressive to the average voter, said Bernie lacked the credentials she had, and so the Sanders campaign retorted that she was unqualified to beat Trump given the polling that was starting to show her losing in the Rust Belt to Trump, to which we got about 4 weeks of screeching about how insulting such was to Clinton and women in general.

Recently saw some Dem influencer tweet that criticisms of Biden's debate performance were a new form of ableism.

I'm not gonna make any predictions anymore on this race because it seems nothing matters anymore 😂

to be fair, they weren't "very mildly critical of biden's debate performance" as the tweet says, they were calling for biden to step down. which really speaks to how dire this is given they're generally ghostb*x level dnc messengers.

This story and others are why nothings gonna happen with the pressure for Biden not being the nominee.

it's been

"insider says"

"DNC staffer said"

"Dem source said"

no one cares about that. They want names and faces. So far all the important people have come out in public with their support.

There is no risk of losing campaign access by declaring your undying support. If people come forward publicly, they won't just be blacklisted from the Biden campaign. They'll be blacklisted from Democrat politics forever.

The DNC is actually a cult of delusion worse than MAGA at this point, and your assessment is proof of why that is the case.

Honestly, you could have still made an argument for Clinton having some ability to win at this point in the campaign back in 2016. This time around, though… it absolutely feels like it's Joever :skull:

It may be a sad assessment but it's the truth. People care more about these things when it's real people telling them. Not "sources" and such.

The "only person to ever beat Trump" line is so delusion and aggressive that it genuinely makes me resent him and think it would *almost* have been better for Biden to lose in 2020 and Dems try again in 2024 with how dedicated Biden is to sabotaging everything for his own ego, COVID being the only caveat.

Anyone who voted for him in the 2020 primaries really will have the countless deaths of women and minorities on their hands when Trump wins in November.

I can't predict that with 100% certainty. I don't think anyone can at this point.

The argument that Biden is the best option for beating Trump has NEVER held ground and it certainly doesn't hold ground today.

Nobody can predict anything like this with 100% certainty. Someone could be ahead by 98 points and we still wouldn't know for certain. That being said, the writing is on the wall.

but they are all doing the same basically against him. That's before any campaign against them begins and all of their dirty laundry is aired.

I could see if we had proof of a candidate being ahead 5-10 points on Trump right now. But there isn't anyone who is.

if anyone wants to realistically take Biden off the ticket Harris is the only logical choice. Shes the VP. She can also use the Biden team's infrastructure and cash. The others can't.
