Right. And like if we are gonna try to compare history let's not lie about what the forecaster previously forecastedโ€ฆ hahaha

Also poll wise we seem to be in a pattern. One month Trump has horrible head to head polls nationally but good state polls. The next set of polls has Biden having the weaker national polls but the better state polls.ย
ย

it's fine to say it's anyone game but Trump may have a slight edge. But Nate saying "it's not a toss up race" is foolish.ย

I can't wait to see Nate silver wrong again ๐Ÿ˜‚

Evaluating the chance of something happening doesn't make him right or wrong. He didn't say that Trump wouldn't win in 2016. The model projected he had a 1-in-3 chance. He would have been "wrong" if he'd said Trump had a 0% chance, just like he'd be wrong if he said the same for Biden now.

True. ย

Still if Biden is lucky and pulls out a win Im gonna love reading his tweets considering all he has done for a year now is trash Biden.ย

It is so funny it seems to be doing that. Even when nothing seems to be changing. Guess sometimes it just depends who answers

I mean, the debate is gonna be a wash and both sides are gonna claim their side won it no matter what. It'll be out of everyone's memories by November, regardless.

I agree with you to an extent.ย
ย

I will say if Trump doenst make a complete fool of himself the media will run with "Trump has changed and more presidential now" even if Biden does ok.ย

ย

if Biden fumbles and has a big mistake they will run with "Biden stumbles! Its over!!! ย Will he be replaced? "
ย

I really do think sometimes we all forget how much the media would love for Trump to win again. His term ย provided them with material every day. Leaks galore. They don't get that with Biden.ย

The thing is, Trump's polling dips when people actually pay attention to him. He's one of those figures the average person only likes when they're remembering him out of context. The moment people hear him and the crazy **** he says, it opens peoples' eyes. He'll have to reign it in during the debate, but you know he wont lol.

ย

As long as they inject Biden with whatever they did for the SOTU, he'll be fine. :rip:ย
