ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted May 27, 2022 Author ATRL Moderator Posted May 27, 2022 @GhostBoxย is right, Obama will remain the most popular ex president for a very long time. ย Certainly favored more than Republican presidents, more than Biden for sure, and to some more than Clinton because of the scandals. ย ย Thatโs not to say we need more Obamaโs in office, because we certainly donโt. ย But the GP will remember Obama for Obamacare and gay marriage and even though the ACA is not near enough, those will remain two popular things heโs โresponsibleโ for. ย

Really all they need is to get a trifecta and enough R votes that they donโt need Collins or Murkowski (who could lose her primary to a MAGA candidate this year anyway). ย Thats all it takes for Obamaโs pathetic โlegacyโ to get wiped out.

Come on I said it COULD BE if they take up the right case for it. ย Thatโs all it took for Roe and Casey being completely overturned (assuming the leak stays the end result) was the Court taking up a case that everyone thought would have a narrow decision that would barely preserve Roe but keep the 13-week ban in Mississippi upheld. Read. Nowhere did I say that would DEFINITELY happen next year. I know liberals hate reading but please. Read. ย Do I believe that the Democrats will get completely wiped out of both House and Senate over the midterm and presidential cycles? Yes. I do. Do I believe the Biden presidency is pathetic and that is a major reason why Democrats are going to be politically dead for cycles to come? Yes. I do. The damage Biden is doing right now cannot be understated.

Who is the presumptive opponent he will face and probably lose against in 2024.ย ย ย Like. Polling would indicate that Biden loses the POPULAR VOTE to Trump at this point. ClashAndBurn Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Speaking of Carter, good to see he is fighting on the right side of history AGAINST overturning millions of acres of public land just because the Dept. of Interior Secretary feels like it. ย ย Disgusting that Biden, on the other hand, is fighting for Trump and Ryan Zinke ย ย
Vermillion Posted May 28, 2022 Posted May 28, 2022 Tucker's son Buckley works for Jim Banks who wants the same leadership position(s) Elise is vying for when the Republicans take power in November.ย ย Story doesn't go into enough detail but this particular episode of infighting is definitely something to monitor. Especially as Tucker himself has called her a puppet on multiple episodes and she's run completely away from her original "moderate" image as her district's gone dark red since 2014.ย ย ย

It appears that the plot was hatched and mostly directed by FBI paid informants. The trials ended last month with two not guilty and two mistrials. The trials were all over media when they started, but when they ended they faded away, guess the lack of convictions didn't fit the media narrative.
