I’ve said before, I don’t think he’ll win a general, but he’s exactly the kind of anti-progressive that would win a Democratic primary. He sucks too much to appeal to general electorate in any situation other than what allowed Joe Biden to just barely luck his way into office in 2020: a once-in-a-century pandemic met with a catastrophic response by his opponent.

Which is why I think Eric Adams will be a future nominee for President years from now. They hate us. They make it clear they don’t want our votes. Then they use us as their scapegoat when they inevitably lose whether we sucked it up and voted for them or not.

Their excuse is that THEY have to play to the center because the country as a whole is so right-wing that they reject anything left-of-center. The truth is, they're just a status quo party, while the Republicans are the regressive party. The political duopoly ensures there is no space for progressivism in this country. That's just all there is to it. Their mantra is "better things are not possible" because they don't want them to be possible. It's why they fight so much harder against Bernie Sanders than they ever have against Ronald Reagan, the Bushes, or Donald Trump.
