what does everyone think of her?Β
what are her politics?

What are the odds of her securing the nomination?

All I know is her camp performance with the giant Project 2025 book at the DNC last year and I stanned that. Good for her :clap3:Β

Navarro just said they're permanent.Β :deadbanana:

I just saw. Tomorrow is about to be a blood bath because now margins are going to get called. We can't lower interest rates anymore, etc.

Β

I'm so happy my 401k makes purchases at EOD instead of at market opening. But we may see still like a ghost bounce. But I'm betting on maybe a 3% fall again.

Honestly I'm just glad that Buttigieg isn't running, so anyone that isn't him or that awful AG Dana Nessel, I'd be more or less fine with, at first glance.

Β

The worst possible Michigan Dem is already in the Senate anyway. Can't possibly be any more of an evil piece of **** than Slotkin.

If the markets actually start believing this, then they are gonna utterly collapseΒ

This is going to be an utter shitshow.

Despite some polls predicting the state could be a very narrow win for Trump or even a win for Harris, Donald Trump won Iowa in a landslide, winning the state by 13.2 percentage points, the widest margin for any candidate since 1972.

Once **** hits the fan, the entire Trump admin with 2028 ambitions is going to end up resigning to distance themselves. Vance is going to be an easy target in the primary debates.Β

My local library got hit by the cuts. It's so sad. It makes no sense to me.Β

And then when republicans challenge all of the new immigrants based on the fact congress never authorized these. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Lbr, the same thing happens here. I've been lolling at all the Biden posts recently. Move the **** on. Everyone!

I do like how the only person who ever likes these posts is some like right wing Zionist from Poland who has never once actually posted their own post in this thread fndjdj.

Β

Always seeing them in the likes of some left-punching post is always so fjdjdjdjd.Β

Guess what... as much as you may hate them, they did not want this to happen

Ehhhh. Debatable.Β

Β

This attempted reformation of the egoes of losers is as bad as the claimed instances of people not able to see the forest (Republican chaos) for the trees (Democratic failure).

Β

Like we should able to say Kamala is a flop loser and soulless careerist without a suburban liberal partisan being like "oh so we're just insulting BLACK WOMEN now???"Β  If any political ideology is dead after all of this, it's certainly THAT nonsense.Β

Β

Biden was a white supremacist. Kamala was a merit-less loser. These people deserve none of our time discussing them anymore for failing to stop the worst fascist to ever be president from so easily winning a broken election system.Β

they largely celebrated Kamala's defeat, and they in some cases actively argued for people to not vote for her. Unlike yourself who was out there on the ground canvassing for her if my memory serves correctly. I understand that you feel a certain kinship with this part of the left but I do not,

"Don't listen to actual American progressives who were 100% right about how the election would play out. Instead, side with me and listen to the made up things I claim about these Americans, even if I'm an Australian who has never felt the material consequences or pressure of America having a center-right and far-right political party"

Β

...girl??

Β

Pointing out that most voters don't think "black lady cop who ALSO really hates migrants, Muslims, and trans kids" is a compelling campaign narrative (and being right !) =/= celebrating fascism.Β

Β

The left was right as always and 99% of these "move on!!" posts come from liberal partisans not yet ready to admit their ideology failed.Β

Β

Turns out black lady magic can't make neoliberal austerity work. Who ******* could have predicted that djdjdjjd.Β

No, because that is not what that user said or meant

Β

Discussing World War 2 and saying move on from Hitler is not the same as discussing Donald Trump's current actions and saying move on from Biden... for obvious reasons. Bidens culpability for Trumps current actions is not equivalent to Hitler's culpability for World War 2.Β

Β

There is a time and a place for these discussions. I have great hatred in my heart for Joe Biden in particular.Β The point is some people never talk about Trump unless it is the context of bashing democrats in some way, they largely celebrated Kamala's defeat, and they in some cases actively argued for people to not vote for her. Unlike yourself who was out there on the ground canvassing for her if my memory serves correctly. I understand that you feel a certain kinship with this part of the left but I do not, and I believe they have a fundamental political blindspot that leads them to be overly obsessed with centrist Democrats to the exclusion of the right wing. Its not about hurt feeelings. The fact that Biden's culpability for Trumps current actions is being compared to Hitler's culpability for World War Two speaks to that.

Β

I really just happen to agree with these people because I believe they're correct. I mean I was willing to admit to the leftist girlies in here that I was wrong about Harris. I argued that people would be willing to look past her Republican appeals in order to keep Trump out of office, and that her intelligence and apparent care for the country would convince people to vote, even with mediocre and unclear policy. I even said that people shouldn't be protesting Harris at her rallies cause it wasn't the time or place, only for the protests to (somewhat) work, and get her to move an inch left on Gaza. I regret even saying that in the first place, cause there is never a bad time and place to protest someone allowing a genocide to take place.Β

Β

That's the thing, I'm not playing team sports here, I see legitimate flaws in the Democratic Party that were plain as day even before Harris lost. I wanted so badly for her to win so we could avoid Trump, because I felt pushing for progressive policies would be easier under her than Trump, and even if that's true, the progressives were correct about how badly she would lose.Β

Β

I don't feel allegiance or loyalty to a politician or party, I simply want what's logical and morally correct to be done. Democrats running the same game plan as the last 3 elections is not logically or morally correct. They were right about pretty much everything. And it wasn't stubborn leftists refusing to vote that caused the election results to be what they were, it was an uninspiring Democratic Party that failed to galvanize its base and get out the vote. We have to keep reminding ourselves of that, because it seems like every 4 years, we forget and roll over for whatever neoliberal copy the Dem establishment sh*ts out for us. And then we end up back here.

I just don't even understand these people's argument. It's like they think suffering without cause builds stronger, more resilient people. But all it does is add heat to the pressure cooker situation we're already in. Β

Β

Wait, not this being the first reply dd it's so true and we are in hell :deadbanana4:
