He is using some made up formula, (export to US - import from US)/export to US equals the ''tariffs'' other countries have on US, and then he charges half of that amount.

Well I was jokingly replying to what I thought was a joke but apparently it wasn't so I'm being taking seriously. People's livelihoods and lives are at stake but go off about a 2econd video game.

We lost Steak N Shake y'all. This used to be my spot last year soley for the hot cashier that would lean out the window and hold strong eye contact and ask me how my day was. I can't go back anymore. Their whole twitter is worshipping Tesla and requoting MAGAts. I don't want to look at my other fave restaurants cause I already know they're problematic too. Why are these companies leaning so heavily right? What's the point? Why can't they just be neutral? What is the harm in that? What made target and Meta go out of their way to proudly announce end of DEI? Just do it silently if that's how you felt all this time? Thats what bothers me.

I've not had a single good experience with them so if anything seeing their social media go full MAGA felt like personal vindication  like "see I knew something here was off"

In all honesty it really could negatively impact concert ticket prices. 
 

If the technology and stage designs are made in other countries it will raise operation costs 💀

Manufacturing isn't going to come back because Trump isn't going to keep the tariffs.  Why would any company move their factories back to the US if they don't even know if the tariffs will be in place a week from now or a month from now or a year from now with how much Trump's calling them on and off? And then a Democrat could get elected in 2028 and just remove the tariffs. Then the companies would have to relocate their operations and rehire workers all over again. The risk is just not worth it, even if it could be done that quickly.

 

Even if Trump is privately assuring business leaders that he'll make sure this pays off for them, do we really think they'll trust him to keep his word? We know if nothing else Trump responds to the markets. That's why he chose to do the conference after the markets closed today. If the markets dip too much the tariffs will be delayed again and we'll repeat this whole process next month. If the tariffs do stay in place, we're going to see a disgusting amount of corporations vying for personal exemptions and offering bribes, promises of investment, etc.

They were always conservative loons, they just had to keep it reigned in because they didn't want to affect their companies. Now that Trump's in power, they can be outwardly lunatics. I can guarantee these companies coming out as MAGA have HR department heads on suicide watch because of all of this. It's a bunch of CEOs who won't listen to the experts telling them this is a bad idea. The only reason the CEO of my company stopped sending out emails telling people to support Trump was because our new lawyer told the CEO he could be sued now that the company is an ESOP and he's no longer the owner, just a CEO lol.

Elon replied to Alex Jones' assertion that the Wisconsin SC race was stolen.  Surprised it took him this long. Over the course of a day we went from "The fate of humanity rides on this race" to "I expected to lose and the ballot measure was more important anyway" (guess that's why he dumped $20+ million into the race as opposed to that issue lol) to "We had to sacrifice a chess piece to advance our position" to "It was rigged". Only the greatest mind we have today!
