Okay so Canada is exempt from the blanket 10 percent tariffs. So why did he make such a big deal about the fentanyl then? :rip:ย None of this makes sense.

I think he just had a bone to pick with Trudeauย :rip:

The reciprocal tariffs go into effect April 9th. Plenty of time for them to get delayed again. I still think this is yet the newest circus to force negotiations. "We really mean it this time!" Especially if the markets find an excuse to rally tomorrow.

According to the newest YouGov poll, Chuck Schumer has lower net favorability (-33%) than Andrew Tate (-29%)

Disgusting as it is Tate has "fans." Imagine the kind of person that would describe themselves as a fan of Chuck Schumer

I'm confused as to why Trump makes such a deal of sales taxes charged in other countries. Doesn't the US charge sales tax and the federal and state levels as well? It doesn't make sense.

I know you're joking and I don't think the tariffs had anything to do with the price of the games and system; moreso the Japanese economy. Buuuut a smallllll portion of me wonders if it did play a factor into their pricing lol.ย

I'm not really joking, sinceโ€ฆ

Tariffs get passed down to the consumer. Retailers are the ones who would shoulder the costs and it would be fiscally (and morally) irresponsible for the market prices to not explode and punish the American people for electing this man.

So basically the tax from China will now be 54%... Yeah, a recession and possibly a depression is coming to Amerikkka

A mess! I know Ireland isn't being impacted too badly but our economy is so ******* strong and this idiot could cost us 20 billion in revenue over the course of his term which is HUGE for such a small country.ย

ย

80,000 jobs that could have been created over the next 4 years - may disappear. A mess.ย

It's just wild to me how there's people in his cabinet that used to have common sense and see that it's a disaster but nobody will speak out. They all just sit there nodding like clowns.ย

Pretty high. When he realizes how much the economy tanks because of these tariffs, he'll lift most of them or lower them significantly. Just give it a few days.

:ahh: I think I mentioned this in the past, but I work for a tech telecommunications company and we're currently in the process of having custom tablets manufactured in China because the tablets we use now are too expensive. The gigantic tariffs on China are going to make these custom tablets, which we've already spent millions on designing and manufacturing, more expensive than the tablets we currently have. :ahh:ย :ahh:ย And my CEO is a huge MAGA moron.

It doesn't matter if he rolls these back. Larger companies have been preparing price hikes, and once they're implemented, they're never coming down.
