I just mean in general. I think an overhaul of all the geriatrics for completely fresh faces of young, charismatic, attractive people - even taking ideology out of the equation - will immediately make the Democratic Party more stomachable for voters and remove the baggage that the veterans carry from decades of boogeymanning by the right wing media machine. Yeah it's superficial change, but it would show the party is at least taking steps to TRY to change. 1
Communion Posted Wednesday at 01:15 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:15 AM If Dems lose this, I genuinely don't know how they recover or find a path forward that doesn't include like.. radical revolutionary violence in the same way the right calls for given Elon was literally just paying people money if they promised to vote how he wanted.ย 1
Bears01 Posted Wednesday at 01:29 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:29 AM I think she's going to win. Good, **** Elon, and republicans genuinely might not have a chance at getting a majority on the WISC for a very long timeย 5

Thuggin Posted Wednesday at 01:54 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:54 AM Wait is it going to be a 5+ point margin win? Oh Susan GODford! 2

K.O Posted Wednesday at 01:56 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:56 AM Republican support and hard push for a national voter ID strikes me as odd because in theory, wouldn't it help democrats and hurt republicans? I think that Republican's base will be more impacted by the implementation of voter Id laws than the democrat's base.ย 2

In the short term, it seems like a bad reason because it seems like an attack on those they think shouldn't have voting rights... at that might be the reason. But in the long run in will absolutely benefit the Democratic party. 1
CandyCoatedClouds Posted Wednesday at 02:05 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:05 AM I feel a strange sense of peace lately, maybe because I know that this administration will crumble and has already started to decay and crumble. Trump will pass away form old age, some of his followers will snap put of their cult induced coma, JD Vance is a very unserious man who has the charisma of day old bread and cannot rally or coral the MAGA cult. ย Also why are you guys surprised that a republican won Florida district six? They were always going to win, what matters is the margin in which they win, which was much smaller than anticipated so that's good news. ย Lastly, I've never been a big Corey Booker fan but I felt immense pride today as a black woman, watching a black man have the longest senate speech, and dethrone Strom Thurmond, who previously held the record for his speech being against the Civil Rights movement. I feel as though he has a bright future ahead of him. 6

He connects with millions of people who only care about him, not the Republican Party.ย ย If he tanks the economy, republicans will probably be doomed electoral wise for the rest of our lives. They do not have anyone else that can do what he does. I have a diehard Trump supporting friend who moved him since 2015 and even he said "I ain't voting ever again once he leaves office. His son is ******* weird"ย 2

Especially brown voters or ones with Hispanic last names.
