Only option is a clean CR really with disaster funding. Democrats would be foolish beyond words to give up any kind of leverage on the debt ceiling, unless they wanted to get rid of it all together Looks like a government shutdown for the holidays 1

It didn't come out of the blue. And the personal attacks along those lines purely for the crime of being critical of moderate Democrats have been pretty constant for years now. From Kassi, frenchyisback, etc. It's really not new. I don't have anything against you personally or wanna say or do anything that hurts or insults you beyond your 'internet persona' opinions and such. We're all just strangers yelling **** into the void at the end of the day. 1 1
Bears01 Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM The next 2 years (at least) are going to be a mess once the border reconciliation package is passed, Republicans are going to be like chickens with their heads cut off in the house 1 1

Sannie Posted yesterday at 02:23 AM Posted yesterday at 02:23 AM I've been ignoring politics lately in an attempt to remain delusional and blind but every thing I do end up seeing is showing what we all expected: Republicans in chaos. This is really going to blow up in their faces to the point that nothing will get done. I just need this damn Bird Flu to stay in its lane for the next four years. Another pandemic with this admin would be even worse than COVID. 1

I would laugh if I didn't have to live in this country.
ClashAndBurn Posted yesterday at 04:52 AM Posted yesterday at 04:52 AM lol, yeah this much was obvious from the start He was never really the man in charge. Just like Trump won't be next year (since it'll be President Musk running the show). 1

ClashAndBurn Posted yesterday at 06:15 AM Posted yesterday at 06:15 AM Now I don't especially care for Jaime Harrison, but... this Lindy Li has been insufferable

I hope you're not doing the thing even the VP herself did of running away from politics. @Raspberries Both attacking the prophetess for ha warnings AND hiding in fear once reality hit to avoid facing the necessary postmortems. It's almost like some of us were seeing in real-life the cultural swing against Democrats as an unpopular brand.
FameFatale Posted yesterday at 02:04 PM Posted yesterday at 02:04 PM They way republicans are going on Fox and spinning it like it's all the Democrats fault the government will shut down is something else
dman4life Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM It sucks that Republicans are SO bad at governing that the pendulum might just swing back to the do nothing Dems smh! Not that I want Republicans in power but we already know the Dems won't change their strategy at all and could very well still get rewarded for it which is terrible! 1
RihRihGirrrl Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM Posted yesterday at 02:37 PM There should be no Republican party....the idiots don't know how to Govern and they never actually want to Govern. We'd be in a much better position if our 2 party system consisted of a true progressive party and a centrist Democrat party. 1 1
Sannie Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago If Dems knew how to strategize and organize and were hilariously petty, they'd pay people to follow trump around with "President Musk" signs. I really think every Dem in Congress should start referring to Musk as President. 1
