Also, sidebar, Astead arguing for more independent media and those dumping PSA rallying to him when he literally works for the New York ****ing Times :ace:ย

ย

That the entire discourse is revolving around these petty rich bougie ****s because Bernie doesn't have an heir cause AOC needs to keep her seat and gave up anything of substance for changeย :ace:ย

Here's my take on the future. Republicans have succeeded in dumbing down the electorate with education cuts and at the same time Putin and Elon have been very successful with the misinformation bots to trick those poorly educated people. Then on our side, we're essentially three parties: leftists, progressives/liberals, and older moderate dems who cannot and will not find a candidate we agree on to drive 80% turnout of the party it just won't happen. We're in for decades of Republican control, this whole place is gonna be Alabama and West Virginia (no hate to them, but I live 40 mins from the west va border and drive through it often, it's pitiful) by 2035. Also, our bickering is futile because trumps gonna serve us a 6-3 Supreme Court majority that's gonna strike down any progressive polices for the next 40 years, and I'll be dead by then:cm:

he wants to believe every thing is like it once was and it just isn't. It's been one of my biggest issues with him.ย

On the other hand, it makes AIPAC spend against a Jewish senator in a race that was probably already lost when they could have focused $100m entirely on unseating AOC and Ilhan insteadโ€ฆ

ย

Surely they understood the entirety of Palestine won't exist in a year so voting either way was performative anyway.

Saved us from WHAT?! He literally gave us Trump again. In fact, he was involved in BOTH of the administrations that ultimately led us down the path to Trumpism :ahh:

Liberals actually don't realize why they're failing, and it's simultaneously hilarious and sad to watch
