My English skills are so terrible, I wish I could make my case better and more effective about messaging and reaching out to broader voters but I am a terrible debater so I don't wanna continue discussion because I cringe reading my own posts because of how bad I try to make my points ksksksksk @Redstreakย sorry, I wish I could make my case better but since I'm an ass communicator, I am only gonna make myself sound more dumb and fail at trying to make my actual point + I dislike fighting and arguing since it always reeks out bad energy out so I always shut out from that space (not saying we are fighting or arguing since we are having normal conversation, it's just frustrustes me on how to make a productive conversation when I am terrible at making my point of view :deadbanana2:)

Seeing democrats say they ran too "woke" of a campaign and that they "need to go harder to capture the moderate vote" just shows me they learned absolutely nothing from this election. It's almost comical.ย
ย

No you idiots. Quit trying to be diet republicans. THEY DONT WANT YOU

I just told my phone banking and poll working friends I won't be back in for anymore election seasons. Seeing my already maroon area swing 10 points to the right and 8 million democrats sit this one out I've decided volunteering is a total waste of my time and judging by the arguing on here about what direction the party needs to go in we are gonna lose in a landslide in 2028 again because the ones who aren't 100% happy are gonna sit home again. And I get that Kamala wasn't a fantastic candidate, but If the dangers Donald Trump weren't enough to sway people and the price of eggs and gas did, me describing policies to voters isn't going to either. And if we make it to a 2028 election it's getting 10 minutes of my time max. If there's a line of less than 10 minutes I'll go vote but if not I am setting it out like everyone else because if nobody else gives a **** then why should I? Why should I spend 3 months giving my spare time when it makes absolutely zero difference in the end. In my area it actually did harm. ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ’€

Do what will keep you healthy, but please don't give up. Nihilism is what they want. I've been trying to find a silver lining, a thread of hope, and I'm failing right nowย :gaycat6:ย but hey, you can't predict the future perfectly. Anything could happen.

ย

Edit: sorry if I'm being preachy. Just hate seeing energy dissipate like that.

If polling is to be believed, Democratic voters want her to run again in a landslide.ย
ย

Never mind she had the worst loss for a Democratic candidate since the 1980's, or that she ran an entire campaign abandoning any kind of progressive voter at all, her campaign staff is saying she ran too left of a campaign!ย
ย

The DNC has been occupied with the worst, most out of touch people on earth, and it's spread to the voters apparently.ย

IF Kamala were to run again (lord help us) she doesn't need anyone on her staff from the Biden or Obama era. The Biden team she inherited ran her campaign like she was Joe Biden! Keeping her locked away as if she was the 81 year old dementia ridden sitting president. One thing we can probably all agree on is being too risk adverse didn't help her AT ALL!

ย

I hope she sits the next one out. The best thing she can do is advise the next candidate to look at her campaign and look at what NOT to do! If Democrats win the White House again (doubt it) then she can be appointed as AG.ย

"We need to keep running to the right!!"

Jesus Christ. Maybe a change of strategy would have done a bit of good?ย

I've said before that Obama not using all his political capital to pass immigration reform was a big mistake. He was terrible at strategy.

if trump actually gets sworn in, i'm going to be so gagged. it's clear the man / the ruling class are trying to run the country to the ground, so they can rebuilt it into full on techno-fascist government.

ย

it's insane how intelligent agencies even allowed for essentially russians to take over the federal government. meanwhile, Malcom X, Martin Luther King, the black panther party were targeted & taken care of by the fbi/cia.

ย

And thats what speaks volumes to me on this whole situation

The conspiracy theorist in me believes this so much. Like Kamala realistically never had a chance and essentially Trump was supposedย to win in order to destabilizing the country. Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in the world, basically running his campaign only sharpens this point for me. It definitely gives "New World Order" vibes.
