Was it because he was a  uncharasmatic, demented 80 year old man incapable of messaging the moderate accomplishments of his presidency which still failed to materially improve the lives of Americans clouded out by the endless war funding by his presidency polarizing Arab Americans, the working class and college students, with Trump scapegoating immigrants for the economic hardships?

I'm all for lashing the hypocritical leftists who wanted Trump to win just to hurt people but the data is showing us they had little to no impact in most places (which is great because now we no longer have to care about them or capitulate to them). Dems were going to lose no matter what because the American public have been under a lot of strain due to higher prices over the past four years. Trump lost in 2020 because he was blamed for COVID. Kamala lost in 2024 because she & Biden were blamed for high prices. The incumbent gets the blame even when it's not fair for them to.

 

Where do Dems go moving forward? Honestly, no where. Just let the Trump policies destroy the country like we know they will and people will vote Dem the next time around. The cycle continues.
