FameFatale Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Apparently Trump is trying to give press briefing room credentials to podcasters and youtubers that helped him win Adin Ross and The Nelk Boys coming to The White House soon. 1 1

Reginald Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago At this point, I'm perched for the MyPillow guy and Kid Rock to join the Trump administration. What a joke, all I can do is laugh.

I recall certain users on this site going as far as saying Project 2025 was a hoax and Dem fearmongering. I don’t? All I remember is people saying that Project 2025 is the standard Republican playbook and that it’s not uniquely different from what they’ve always planned to do (which is true, the Republican Party has always been fascistic). The only person on the “left” I can think of that downplayed Project 2025 is Ana Kasparian (I used air quotes because she’s not actively identifying as part of the left anymore).

I fear for what the next four years and beyond are going to look like.

You would think, this very well could be the last time this decade democrats hold the senate, and can get any slice of their priorities through, that she would get the memo. Then again, this is the woman who thought the country was craving more of the Cheneys…

She has no reason to care about judges now that the Obama-Biden-Harris legacy is completely up in smoke

You can, and should, place your blame on Merrick Garland. He had no sense of urgency and dragged out the process, and was more than willing to let Trump walk away with zero accountability until the documents raid on Mar-a-lago. 2 hours ago, XDNA said: It's amusing how many appointees have connections to Project 2025. Nothing affirmative about what they would or could do for people until it was too late. And the public didn't take those fears seriously, which is why the Dems lost in a blowout.

Sure, he may actually be a fascist. But they have no sense of urgency or see any need to protect us from it, because fascism is what the people chose. Enthusiastically. They're not scared of what he could do. And in fact, they support what he's going to do in Gaza (as an example), but they don't want to take the blame for it. So in a way, they're relieved. They weren't going to do anything about codifying Roe either. Not with a Republican Senate. So them losing means they don't get blamed for the stagnation and being unable to achieve progress. 1

All stemming from being controlled by their donors (and well listening to them, too). Corporate democrats just let fascism into the White House, but they don't have the genuine anger and empathy necessary to fight back. Republicans love money and power too, but they have about 10000x the conviction the average corp dem has, and that's how they continue to win races everywhere despite having disastrous policy after disastrous policy. Dems don't even know how to lie well. A ******* disaster on every ******* metric.

I mean you're right. It's just frustrating for me personally, and to the people who still voted for her and democrats downballot the last 6-8 years, who have to watch any last chance of any kind of progress fall out of their grasp because democrats are both lazy, and kam kam felt like she needed a vacay
