FameFatale Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I'm curious about Byron Donalds having a role. He was a big surrogate during the campaign. I could see him going to treasury. But at least the man has some banking background.

He's been in the senate for 20 years and has about as much job security as anyone there, I can't imagine he'd feel the need to cave to MAGA. 1

skwonderfactory Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Well, I am making further progress on plans with my fiancé. We both will be talking to our health insurance and doctors about our medications in the next few weeks, their going to start drafting a will soon and making funeral plans, they have family in Argentina they will get in contact with shortly, and I have a passport appointment next Friday. On Saturday, we will be seeing my mom to talk about further steps (she is on social security disability and has subsidized housing, too) and on Sunday to their parents (their mom and step dad basically bury theirs heads in the sand when it comes to politics, so they barely know how bad it could get). It's going to be a busy and difficult next few weeks but it's a matter of survival at this point. 4 1

ctlp27 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I know he does it knowing they wont go forward and it gives him the perception that he is rewarding his most loyal supporters, but this is so ridiculous that what is the point to alienate so fast the independant who put aside their despise in the name of "inflation". matt gaetz seriously? ready for MTG to be supreme court nominee next year.

Ashley Banks Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Trump has appointed so many House Republicans to his cabinet. If Democrats overperform in the special elections, they could lose their majority (at least for a few months). 1
