I was in the grocery store this weekend and overheard two people talking politics and how they're glad Trump won "to get those transgenders out our kids' schools with their indoctrination" and then something about Jesus and needing to teach bible classes in all schools... They also love to complain about bureaucracy / red tape but somehow expect the very specific regulations they want to materialize. To upper middle class white people, the system is always supposed to work for them, so the system is only broken if it's not working for them. 1 1
