Oh, that isn't what is shocking to me. I get the appeal and am all for regulating out things like unnecessary dyes or further regulating how the food industry operates, though I think it is ultimately as others have said @Thuggin @Wonderland over-stated just what the problems actually are with the FDA's blind spots with processed foods.

 

That's there's likely much more failure in the actual food processing and manufacturing that leads to public harm than the idea of what is in our food like dyes.

 

I'm more-so just amused / blackpilled over how many view food regulations as conspiratorial and not in the lens of corporate greed. And probably why we need to - like everything leads us to - talk like Bernie more lol.

 

Cause it's clear people understand corporations don't act in their best interest, but when it's not connected in messaging as politicians working hand-in-hand to get richer and ultimately about greed, you have people who become conspiratorial, ie: "THEYR'E PUTTING SEED OILS IN THE FOOD TO MAKE US HAVE ADHD AND SOY TO MAKE US TRANS!! THEY WANT TOTAL SOCIETAL CONTROL!!!".

 

So people ultimately think there's a nebulous evil afoot that Trump will stop as opposed to understanding this is corporate greed, Republicans are bought out by corporations, and Trump isn't going to do anything that is bad for their business or profits.

 

This all makes me realize I didn't hear a Democrat mention at all over the last 3 months Republicans spending the last 2 years changing labor laws to let tweens work in industry plants. Maybe there's a bacteria in your ground beed because your state allowed a 15-year-old to run the line of assemblymen, Karen?

This (the bolded) is true. BUT it's important to understand that millions did not vote at all due to the same rhetoric that encouraged many to vote third party. And that DID indeed cost her the election partially.
