Sorry but this is where our campaign donation money gets spent on? Pathetic. No I feel naive about this too I ofc knew that money would be spent on the logistics of campaign events (staging, tech, support staff, etc) but already well-off celebs charging millions for 20-minute appearances that they say are in support of the greater good I'm gonna hope that Lizzo number is fake (for Lizzo? the ROI in terms of votes gained from that event is probably awful). But kinda symbolic of the shortcomings of this campaign and its priorities I wonder if it'd make sense to have campaign finance laws about disclosures for this kind of thing 1 1

All over Instagram, Twitter, and certainly here on ATRL, anyone who rightfully criticized Biden and Kamala were told "not the right time!!! We need to stick together to beat Trump!!!" Kind of like every time there is a mass shooting, there's someone screaming "How inappropriate! It's not the right time to talk about gun control." Apparently it's never the right time to talk about anything. Maybe I'm misreading but like I feel like the right does the same exact thing? Right-wingers/Republicans who "stepped out of line" with regards to Trump either got laughed at or were straight-up excommunicated from the entire movement 2 1
popstyle Posted Sunday at 03:05 PM Posted Sunday at 03:05 PM Im scared as **** as to whats to come. This whole election seems off. Theres been some weird speeches from kamala and biden. Is this end times? is this the illuminati? is it world war iii? project 2025, Is this project rose? Epstein island? covid19 was a test to see how we would be on lockdown. Tiktok shuts down January 19. Trump gets Inaugurated January 20. Elon - star link the next war is in the sky Call me crazy but Ive been having weird premonitions something big is going to happen that we have never witnessed in this lifetime with the big Elites. 1
Vermillion Posted Sunday at 03:09 PM Posted Sunday at 03:09 PM WAY too much to unpack with this, but again, in this instance, I'm just the messenger…

Not surprised with his arrogance lmao. Goodluck trying to get votes next time, as we have seen how Latinos (in general, despite 58% of them voting for Kamala) are being demonized. The Democratic Party is doomed if its supporters and the party itself is eating itself apart instead of fixing what broke 1

With that money, you could buy 60 million gummy bears. If you remove Florida, there are 55 million elegible voters in swing states. It honestly would've been a wiser financial decision to spend $3M on Gummy Bears for Swing State Voters™ than on Lizzo. 3

"We need our own Joe Rogan!!" Now they sound like Trump and his supporters 8 years ago, droning on and on about the liberal mainstream media. The thing is the libs do have their own media ecosystem. The mainstream media was and is always their centerpiece (hence why Fox News was created in the first place). The problem unfortunately is that the GP has lost trust with them. 2

If people already feel like Dems take them for granted, they will not vote for the party that claimed to care about them and then bombed their relatives, cheered on their flight ban or deported them to ICE. 5 1
