Really though, Democrats need propaganda to fight back with, they had it on a silver platter this time too and only barely modestly used it.

The Project 2025 ads from her own campaign were lightweight. The outside pacs with significantly less funding were better

They could have made ads with children working in factories hurting themselves (child labor laws gutted)

Stop & Frisk (Black boys being harrased by cops on the street for racial profiling)

Mass Deportation (Hundreds of Immigrants locked up in chains being sprayed)

College students & the disabled no longer being able to afford classes due to Pell grants being gone.

Civilians dying from extreme weather conditions and pinpointing why

Porn being illegal for young men (There was an outside pac that nailed this, but it came out too late)

The only thing she really did good was the "Trump tax" for his tarriffs but even that could have been more dramatized.

We need more emotional responses/reactions.

But instead she pivoted right, trying to appeal tough on the border & running incoherent "better healthcare" ads

@wastedpotential My anti-MGP senses TINKLED and I saw your post, sis. Kinda hate that there's not many actual progressives from Washington (yes, I know the state isn't actually deeply innately progressive and it and Oregon kinda started off as white supremacist enclaves BUT!). I'm always going to use the tracker someone from DSA put together and -

How does one ensure Miss Jayapal could one day make it to the Senate and who exactly is... Adam Smith? :suburban:

Edit - Nevermind, never trust liberal straight men ever! Screenshot-2024-11-09-at-7-41-47-PM.png

Well Trump technically did make history & broke a record, polls underestimated him 3 times in a row for a presidential cycle:suburban:

I guess we can expect it again 2028

100 percent agree. They need to scare the living daylights out of voters. Fear motivates. Illustrate a reality where Trump deregulates everything and defunds education. I think they did one ad of Trump speaking over the intercom to a plane full of terrified passengers. Should've done more of that.

Btw Gavin needs to shut his mouth about making California a blue save haven unless he's ready to build housing

The 143 of polls. A disaster. A flop. Career destroying. Ann Perry - we will never trust you again.

She must be so embarrassed. The poll was  utter shite.

Do we... Do we have to use Twitter or X or whatever that bozo wants to call it? That's only contributing to the issue. These people need to be migrating to Bluesky or Threads. If you all have a Twitter, then please let these people know so we can stop contributing to Elon Musk's empire.

Its okay no one can actually afford to move there so its all talk from ms Gavin.

Whenever I start to doom about the housing crisis in my country, I spend 5 minutes looking at California rentals and then I feel better:suburban:

The reapportionment forecast for 2032 looks pretty bleak btw.

California -4

New York -3

Illinois -2

Minnesota -1

Oregon -1

Rhode Island -1

Safe Dems: -12

PA -1

GA +1

AZ +1

NC +1

Swing/Lean R: +2

Utah +1

Idaho +1

Tennessee

Florida +3

Texas +4

Safe R: +10

That means that even if the Democrat gets all the blue wall states, that won't be enough. Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, or North Carolina will be required as well.

Sounds like a great way to wall yourself in a media bubble and get blindsided by the next election result when it's a blowout yet gain :gaycat3:

Ddd I went to look at who #211/211 was and it's some khia from North Carolina. Here I was hoping to make some snide comment about someone people had heard of, but I'd be surprised if "Don Davis"'s constituents even knew who he was :deadbanana4:

And I wouldn't be surprised to see AIPAC try to primary Jayapal in 2026 for stepping a toe out of line and cut her off at the knees before a senate run, and if Jayapal tries anyway in 2028 they'll probably prop up Gluey in the primary :deadbanana4:

@aadrl1 Sister I am terribly curious for your post-mortem on the election. I can't believe you clocked my evil plan all along. You failed to stop me from personally tanking Kamala by being a whiny homo online. The check for ₽20,000,000 cashed just now*! Вперед, товарищ! :suburban:
