We need all new progressive pro working class, pro American family agenda. I don't know if the DNC will come to terms with this. They'll just blame it on sexism and say we need to be transphobic to appeal to rural voters. 2 2

People like Pelosi and Psaki are starting to make sense in their analysis, plus the people who are leaking to RS how dumb it was to campaign with Liz Cheney. Heres hoping (but not fully expecting) that they've come to terms the gravity to which they've ****** up and that the time for change is now, but until then: no changes=no votes from me 1

I will personally give my entire soul to a true progressive in the Michigan gubernatorial primary, in which I'm almost certain he's going to run, and I will do everything in my power to ensure his campaign is so thoroughly decimated that the only thing he will ever do again is sit at home alone with Chasten and cry - or go work for a private equity firm or something, I don't care what he does with his private life. But serious consideration for public office, ever again? Not a whisper of a chance. The bright side of this election result is that Pete Buttigieg will most likely not run for president for a very very long time.

It sucks that an absolute queen like Deb Haaland has to get her political career destroyed because of her association to the Biden admin, but it's nice to see Pete and everyone else's associated aspirations absolutely GONE

I remember seeing a poll where Biden was behind Trump in NJ and I found it so hard to believe, but with the election results... yeah, it was entirely possible. asdghj I JUST switched my voter registration from NJ to NY a few months ago, figuring it barely makes a difference nationally and at least I can vote for local stuff… How funny that NJ wasn't that safe Biden and Kamala and the DNC should be ******* ashamed. 1
Communion Posted November 9 Posted November 9 (edited) ddd wait maybe that "Dem insiders urge Harris not to wheel out Cheney" story is just a plant from Biden-world to let Kamala take 100% of the fall if people like Florida Chris and other Biden-Deadenders are agreeing dddd. We need a tell all. Let the Harris crypto business people and the old legacy DC heads who propped up Biden shank one another first. Edited November 9 by Communion 1

The fact that no one on The View is getting it completely right.

Well, when or if he does, I'll be there - but it's best to nip his ambitions in the bud before they have the chance to fester deeper into the Democratic Party. Ugh, imagine - a world where Pete Buttigieg has to wake up and go to a board meeting at Goldman Sachs or something, dreaming all day about the Oval Office, but never setting foot near it again. 3

CandyCoatedClouds Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I enjoy all the democratic governors that are standing up to the project 2025 crap and saying they won't implement it. Also enjoying all the comments on reddit calling for the fracturing of the country and a full on second civil war 😀 1 1
