MAKSIM Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Oh it's over. Susie Wiles is actually competent. She's about to fast track those deportations and annexation of land to Russia and Israel. 1

YellowRibbon Posted November 7 Posted November 7 The Dem coalition will collapse before the 2026 midterms I fear... Black voters and the remaining Latino and Arab American block are at each other throats right now 1
wastedpotential Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Honestly I've been kinda floating in a state of shock for the past few days but now I'm thinking about the Trump cabinet appointments Oh girls, someone hold my hand 1

Or could you share some posts directly? I'm on mobile, but responding to provide later. Basically tons of black content creators are saying Arab Americans are on their own now. We're enjoying our Starbucks, good luck under trump, don't complain, your leverage is over, etc. these posts have 500k+ likes and lots of comment engagement . 1

Even knowing this is out of context this screams like sarcasm and gallows humor. I keep seeing people say he's misogynistic but I need like a full 5 minutes of him saying something to prove that. It's always clips or quotes. 1

If I find some good faith takes I'll drop the links, but everything online so far is about what you'd expect (Black creators saying "Yeah I'm checking out" of the Israel-Palestine issue and calling out Arab-American creators who encouraged protest votes or sitting out). A lot of it is just a continuation of what's been going on for months. 1

I agree, but it's probably because he's swept everything AND the popular vote and it wasn't even that close. Even the reliable blue states have shifted to the right slightly. It's hard to argue against results like these. I think everyone is just stunned and processing how could that possibly have even happened.

If Vance is the presumptive nominee come 2028, we already saw Walz tryout in the debate and it went mediocre at best. Dems need to put forth a fresh face/youthful candidate preferably from a swing state. Except they didn't let Walz be himself. They completely removed his voice after he carried really effective messaging with the "weird" arguments that even the right grifting media picked up. Then after than they shut him down and made him be a Kamala parrot for the debate, then effectively ran Liz Cheney as the new VP. im not asking him to be in office. But they need to get his messaging down. They need to take the Midwest back. 3 3

Big tent political parties can give you one or two victories max before the interests of the members of that coalition stop overlapping... Society is evolving (or devolving, depending on how you look at things) and things like this are meant to happen. Edited November 7 by YellowRibbon 3

There was already a lot of tension between these two communities going into the election. I think this is another reason why we need to move away from identitarian politics. Unfortunately, if people get petty like this and begin to surrender holding out empathy for one another, then we will lose. 2

They ran on democracy. If they made this difficult, people would see it as them being hypocrites. It is also good to contrast this with the chaos of Trump for the future, especially if something crazy happens, like him running for a third term. 1
