Some women are raised with the inherent belief that women should be submissive to men. Trump is a champion of that ideology. They've been conditioned to adore him from their young age and unfortunately they'll suffer the consequences all the same. 1

I do not believe so, no. I'm not the most accurate on this, so I'd rather someone with better polling knowledge answer. I'm going off just exit polls and just actual numerical results.

The issue was base turn out more than moderate Republicans that she was trying to court who didn't budge. Β Shapiro is a proud Zionist that volunteered for the IDF, covered up a murder and covered up a sexual harassment case in his office. He would've been buried a week in with the exact base that he needed to court which has nothing to do with his own states approval ratings. 2

brutal Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Am I the only one who doesn't agree with this "15 million Democrats decided to stay home" narrative? Why are we acting like 2020 was normal voter turnout. The pandemicΒ increased turnout to levels it wouldn't have been naturally: a) being a dire situation that made people want to vote more b) causing people to stay at home and dedicate way more of their time to following politics Β It was bound to fall again. Even with Trump clearly getting MUCH more popular and making massive inroads in both rural and urban areas, he is still missing 3M votes himself. 1 4

The level of lib freak out here is almost cataclysmic and the national Dem apparatus will be pulling out all the stops for Spanberger.  The fact that she's a black woman will depress turn out amongst conservative Latino men that aren't religious. Winsome's a poor public speaker and our progressives will be holding their noses en masse to join the libs, mostly due to Dobbs.  Everyone's saying the same factors that propelled Youngkin to victory, especially the trans youth controversy in Loudoun County, can be replicated, but Virginia is solely about turnout.  Turnout without Trump on the ballot, a year into Trump starting with an approval rating of 48% with mass deportation and getting to replace two SCOTUS justices, lowering it to 43%, where base anger from Arab-Americans in the Upper Midwest isn't replicable, and Latino male turnout isn't nearly as potent, will be causing a drastically different result.  That's my prediction.  If not, then Trumpism can withstand backlash and has made lasting inroads beyond working class Latino men and there's deeper, albeit predictable, problems ahead. I wish I had⦠something to be hopeful about. In this state, we're probably going to have our next governor be a 2020 fake elector and Kemp or MTG boots Ossoff out easily. I hate it here.  1

19SLAYty9 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Biden should have announced 2 years ago he wasn't running. There should've been an open primary, which Kamala would've lost. Then when a dem beat Trump by trashing how Biden is doing nothing Kamala could have a chance at redemption by being AG and prosecuting Trump 7
