A lot of my feed on Insta is people from the MENA putting this on the issue but 18-29 white men don't ******* care about Palestine, same for white women. The Latino voters, I am ******* puzzled.

FameFatale Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Not to go all stop the steal but i'm seeing multiple posts about how people are checking their ballot statuses in swing states and they are seeing rejected after they were accepted or not showing accepted at all Something doesn't smell right, especially after being down 15-20 million votes from 2020. All I can think of is maybe it's cleared after the election is called and counted but it doesn't make sense. 1

So, please explain how Russia would use Trump to its benefit. If you're suggesting that Russia could pressure Trump, remember that they can exert pressure on any country they choose. I think there are certainly plenty of other factors at play but we should be clear that gender/race made an impact in this race. Edited November 6 by RihRihGirrrl 1 1

Wait, the fact that there's actually little mention of this as a silver lining. People had a knee-jerk response to the idea of class-centered politics and we were told class reductionism is bad (it is in specific ways) but we actually might see the death of race reductionism with this. Where are the Resistance Libs to celebrate the Senate now having the most black women in it as ever? Either progressives win this inner discourse and we put policy first or the inverse reductionism happens and black women are told they will only ever get to vote for WHITE MALE centrist Dems again. 1
EnterTheAttic Posted November 6 Posted November 6 A cute guy I spent the night with talking at a party a week ago, just made a post about how happy he is with Trump being back again and how JLo and Beyonce, who are Diddy's associates will now go down by him because they will get exposed for pdfilia. I hate it here. 3
Cain Posted November 6 Posted November 6 2 hours ago, Communion said: This is the thing too and why girlies seem confused why leftists are sure of what's next. The idea of acceleration as a electoral move rotted some liberals' brains and made them think it's a thing largely people do. Like most poor people can't even get off the couch. Let alone vote like 4d chess. But what we as leftists know as accelerationism outside of electoralism is the contradictions of capitalism. That we live in a system that demands more profit be generated from more productivity but which fewer and fewer hands see that profit. Capitalism constantly contracts and expands and the contradictions of capitalism in that reality create this populist movement rooted in people wanting material needs met. People become alienated and isolated and lonely. People won't view this video cause it's Williamson but it in the context of how Republicans filled their hate in the void most people felt in the fallout of COVID makes last night's results more illuminating: Of course Dems can always fail to address alienatiob. But that's why leftists know it's never going away until it is meaningfully addressed and why Dems can't continue to ignore it. At one point its gonna be that Democrats become a progressive party or they just won't be a political party anymore. Wow this was such a good video It's… exactly what I'm struggling with atm, it's like I love life and I want to love it but the way society is structured makes it so hard it's like I'm constantly yanked away from living a real life in order to stay alive 2

Redstreak Posted November 6 Posted November 6 (edited) So much of her hype jumping in was that leadership was finally listening to us, the Dems, and that this was a sign of something better, and to build off that hype of *democrats* she campaigned multiple times on having a lethal military. She couldn't even just say strong, she had to say *lethal* Edited November 6 by Redstreak 1 3

Vermillion Posted November 6 Posted November 6 1 hour ago, ClashAndBurn said: Thoughts on the chances of Winsome Sears being elected the next governor of Virginia next year? @Vermillion She won't. The level of lib freak out here is almost cataclysmic and the national Dem apparatus will be pulling out all the stops for Spanberger. The fact that she's a black woman will depress turn out amongst conservative Latino men that aren't religious. Winsome's a poor public speaker and our progressives will be holding their noses en masse to join the libs, mostly due to Dobbs. Everyone's saying the same factors that propelled Youngkin to victory, especially the trans youth controversy in Loudoun County, can be replicated, but Virginia is solely about turnout. Turnout without Trump on the ballot, a year into Trump starting with an approval rating of 48% with mass deportation and getting to replace two SCOTUS justices, lowering it to 43%, where base anger from Arab-Americans in the Upper Midwest isn't replicable, and Latino male turnout isn't nearly as potent, will be causing a drastically different result. That's my prediction. If not, then Trumpism can withstand backlash and has made lasting inroads beyond working class Latino men and there's deeper, albeit predictable, problems ahead. 1
